And yet the more I come to learn about how SpaceX came to be, and how it struggled to emerge in that first critical decade of its existence, it feels like an absolute miracle that it ever happened.

But now that we have SpaceX, I am greedy. I want more SpaceX’s to emerge. There are at least some promising candidates now.
