The article’s revenue breakdown is informative. When I first read the numbers in Robert’s title, and before reading the article, I could only think of revenues of about half the estimates, but the breakdown makes sense and includes better details on sources I knew about and includes a couple of sources I didn’t know about.

I agree that Starship is similar to what Walt Disney and von Braun had envisioned. In the coming couple of decades, we will have to see if their dream rocket would have given them something similar to what they had expected.

Wayne, to see Disney and Musk in opposing antagonistic roles is truly historically ironic, when you look back at how Walt was a forward looking and imaginative supporter of space exploration. The studio founder Lucas is a pre boomer obviously inspired by the imagineering around this and reality. Can’t say I like the idea of working this out in the courts when the barrier to entry to forming your own studio is so low today.

Starship is looking good. But the government is standing in the way. There’s yet another lawsuit that may ground Starship indefinitely.

What’s the Texas court system going to do about these frivolous suits? I wish they would tell them to go stick a sock in it. It’s not entirely clear that they will, however.

This is a bit of a vignette of what is happening to this country. A bunch of thugs rule over us, and what do we do about it? Probably curl up into a fetal position. I hope not, but that is a possibility.

Jared Isaacman is CEO, Friend of Musk, and flew on the Inspiration4 mission.

Very interesting ‘factoids’ in those revenue predictions.
Just skimmed quickly, but one thing was obvious– Starlink generates a ton-o-cash. (but that being said, pricing pressure in Europe, where a monthly sub is 45 euro)

That is very encouraging. Is the company profitable? Will be so wonderful if the democrats fail in trying to break Elon. I encourage him to issue an IPO of a new public company that would in turn buy a majority stake in Tesla. That gives Elon the controlling interest he wants, clears the field to focus on growing the company and shuts out the democrats.
