Government is just doing the bidding of business. It did so years ago when it passed an ordinance restricting food carts, as allowing them would hurt the local restaurants who pay taxes. And now, if the secondary headline of the article is accurate, they took action against the boy because local small businesses (restaurants) wanted that action to take place. Lets face it…the only reason the Sporting Goods store allowed the boy to open the food cart was because the boy was selling things that did not impact his/her business. If the boy was selling batting helmets and hockey skates, not so sure he would have been so readily welcomed at that spot.
But its just easier to blame government.
