We need to know to what extent this was the IRS acting on its own and the involvement of politicians. This may have started with Democrats working for the IRS but the events over the past few years with the types of questions asked and collusion with Democrat activist groups show the IRS was not acting alone.

It would almost be better if this happened because Obama and the Democrats set the IRS on political enemies because it wouldn’t mean the organization was so corrupt and out of control that they thought they could persecute people with the power of the state on their own.

Either way, the IRS needs to be cleaned out and restaffed from top to bottom. Even the interns need to be fired. Everyone needs to lose their job and hundreds of people should be going to jail.
