					<description><![CDATA[These Russian plans have been in the works for some time.  In addition to a larger crew size (and more cargo capability) they want to move their launch capabilities to within their own borders.

However the following quote raises an interesting point:
“As well as carrying six cosmonauts, the ACV will carry 1,100 pounds (500 kg) of cargo and could travel to the moon.”

You earlier linked to an article that reported:
“Russia has started building a spacecraft for manned Lunar missions with the first test scheduled in 2015, the project developer said Thursday.”

That article made it sound as if the vehicle was a lunar lander as opposed to an orbital crew vehicle, but I wonder if there could be some translation confusion and both articles are talking about the same spacecraft?]]></description>
