IIRC Buran was about the same size as the shuttle orbiter. I didn’t measure, this could be an optical illusion.

I even had a styrene model with all the different rockets (I think the BOMARC was the coolest) (turns out I live about 500 yards from an old BOMARC site) The buildings are gone now but the hydrazine and other chemical spills are still there. There’s still a BOMARC on display at the museum on Peterson AFB.
