The best part of engineering is testing hardware. It’s a thrill to see something you designed made real. A lot less thrilling to have it fail, but still, you’ve made something no one else has, even if it differs only in the details.

It’s cool to see private enterprise doing things that even fifteen years ago, would have been unthinkable except by government. Government has it’s place: some things can only be done by coercion and large sums of money. But when someone wants to run with the ball, government should be opening lanes, not blocking them.
