On the media and this story:

The president of Planned parenthood made a statement:

"The president of Planned Parenthood on Thursday apologized for the “tone and statements” of its chief medical officer, whose candid comments about fetal organ removal have generated heavy attacks against the organization."

The media in its headlines as always attempts to sell clicks and shape public opinion or visa versa or both and only reports / implies in the headline that she is only concerned with the doctors "tone" when she clearly said "tone and statements". If a person was to just tend to read headlines and not the actual content of the story you would tend to come away with a more depraved impression of the president and the organization than if you were to read the entire article. (I am not defending Planned Parenthood here)

If a person were to go to Drudge and just read the headlines you would tend to come away with a general impression of existence where there is no hope for anything positive. And I understand that this is done in part to get people to click on the story because it is outrageous but still the general subliminal impression that one comes away with just reading headlines is a very dark one indeed.

Just to be clear my comment is specifically using this story as an example of media manipulation and choosing to selectively tell half truths in order to create interest and clicks and not about the story itself.

Planned Parenthood is the most loathsome taxpayer-funded organization in the country. It, and the progressives that rally around it when scandals inevitably erupt, are members of a death cult--subhumans, every last one of them. And we are expected to believe the loathsome progressives currently in power when they tell us there's no substance to accusations that death panels are in store for the elderly infirm when Obamacare is fully functional.
