And radical Muslims don’t care what you believe in or who you are. As long as you are not them you are a target.

Eastern Orthodox most certainly recognize the Trinity. Check out the teachings on the Trinity given in the Seven Ecumenical Councils – all of which took place in the Christian East. The only Christians that reject the Trinity are branches of Protestantism (like Unitarians).

As to Byzantine Catholics, they use the worship services of Byzantine Orthodoxy. The only exception is Ruthenian Byzantine Catholics in America, which uses sort of a Latinized Byzantine Low Mass. It was promulgated because they wanted to be more Roman Catholic and less Orthodox.

But this has nothing to do with the religion of peace and the violence it unleashes on the innocent – Muslims, Christians, Jews, and others. There is no mercy in Islam. The Quran is quite clear on this.

And the Trinity is not about three Gods but about three aspects of the one God.

I was originally Byzantine Catholic ( A branch of Eastern Orthodox) but we eventually came into communion with the Holy Roman Church and now recognize the holy trinity.

We still pray for those lost when Constantinople was sacked by the Muslims in 1453. Thousands of Christians died and tens of thousands were sold into slavery.
We also pray for our solders who defend this nation and thus our faith.
We always have ,every week.

In some cases the non Muslims are executed. In others they are allowed to live in total peace with no restrictions. But in most cases around the middle east they are required to pay an extra tax and live with some restrictions.

One of Mohamed’s first documented acts was to come to peace with the Jews in Medina.

People of the Book get special exemptions.

The Quran almost always leaves an out for the ruler of the land. If for some reason he can not kill or convert all in his area there is no reason to make it so he too is breaking the Quran by not obeying one small passage.

Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing… but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”

FYI: “Polytheists” are Christians who believe in the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
