“Flack” .in this context is incorrect, the correct term is “FlaK” from “Flugabwehrkanone}” (“anti-aircraft gun”)_It was applied by the German military both to the arm of service (part of the Luftwaffe) and their weapons such as the celebrated 8.8 cm FlaK 36 – known to the Allies as the “Eighty Eight”.
