Regardless of the school dropping its “investigation”, the parents should sue both the school and the individuals involved. These school authorities and the institution they represent are nothing more than bullies. If they are not made to feel pain (financial), they will just target another student who they believe will be a softer target.

One thing we all should remember about Wisconsin–(the elitists that actually run the place, as opposed to the ordinary people who pay for everything) they have a long (long)history of Progressivism, through-and-through. They might be geographically in the “Midwest,” but they want to be California.
(It’s not all dairy-cows & cheese, as this incident blatantly illustrates.)
