Xi Jinping’s daughter, Mingze went to Harvard, as well as many in Chinese leadership. Daddy Xi was an exception. He stayed free of the evil Western influence. Considering how dogmatic Daddy was, he must consider Harvard a socialist safe haven for his daughter.

Are you asking why you should believe in their graduates if the university itself is not confident in them? That is an excellent point.

A couple of decades ago, I wrote test procedures and had to get signatures on the paper copy (the company has since gone paperless, and now there are five to six times as many signatures needed to release a procedure for use). I wanted to wait until I had all of the signatures before signing in my slot, to assure that I had incorporated all changes that the signatories wanted. One day, one of the signatories said that he wouldn’t sign until I had signed, because if I wasn’t confident that it was right then he was not confident. (What a catch 22.)

If the university is not confident in their graduates, then why should we be? If the university is not confident, then why is it accredited?

In addition, why should any student pay the big bucks to any of these prestigious universities if their degrees can be revoked for non-academic reasons? Earn a degree, receive the degree, then lose it for bogus reasons? It is worse than having your earnings taxed away.

This nonsense has to stop, If Harvard had any balls or any integrity, they would simply dismiss each professor, staff, or student who signs that letter, and then pursue any alumnus with the same punishment they are proposing for others. Universities are run by idiots who believe the inmates should run the asylum,.

It’s bad enough that my experience indicates that even “designer-label” credentials are no guarantee of future results – you can’t even guarantee that the credential itself will endure, it appears.

Message follows: two can play this game, woke whelps.

And we can play it with your food and energy, here-and-now, as well as your future. All it takes is to consider your urban feedlots, er, enclaves unsafe to deliver and do business in, and your suppliers to focus on business in safer locations. And between your panic-demic and your “mostly peaceful” protests, one can make a reasonable case to assume that.

And I say that as someone whose food and energy has to come through one of those feedlots to get to me. What I am talking about will catch me in its crossfire … but as the Architect said in The Matrix: Reloaded … there are levels of survival we are prepared to accept.

We have not yet begun to fight, and we can fight in ways that you can’t call “insurrection” and make it stick.

Don’t start none, and there won’t be none …

In a subtle not in language usage, during my commute in this morning I was listening to NPR. They we marking the surrender anniversary of the last soldiers in the Civil War. Of course, the commentator referred to them as surrendering “insurrectionists”. I’m thinking that “rebel yell” will soon be replaced with “insurrectionist yell” and the “Army of Northern Virginia” replaced with “Insurrectionists of Northern Virginia” in all the digital history books.
