McDonalds is mostly a real estate holding company right now. They will automate most of their employees sooner rather than later. They are only playing this game because they think that having a nice looking executive team photo will help them avoid the bad press that is soon to come from all those layoffs.

There is a word for these practices (statistical hiring quotas …etc) and we need to SCREAM it when we see it!

Sure, let McD’s management go “full woke”, see what it gets them.
Hire a bunch of less qualified people to meet race/gender quotas (BTW, can’t be discriminating against gay, lesbian, bi and trans…).
That’ll work out.

Then they’ll be other issues to address.
Not just the question of using a white sauce on the Big Mac (“Mac”, kinda male-centric isn’t it?).
But the big problem that McD’s restaurants in underprivileged neighborhoods are assaulting people of color with unhealthy stuff passed off as “food”. Surely part of White America’s plan to oppress and kill the brown peoples.
There needs to be major changes.
And reparations. Especially reparations.

Many companies are doing the math when deciding on their hiring policies. The math that I’m alluding to isn’t the quota, which will be further complicated should they want to hire more females, but can’t use male/female disqualifiers/qualifiers. The determination involves which aggreived parties are judged to be more likely to win their legal actions.

I stopped eating at McD a long time ago — when they turned the best fries in the world into something akin to cardboard.

I did visit one back in 2015 during a business trip, as it was the only place open late and my coworkers were hungry. Both the nuggets and burgers were mush, tasteless lumps. How they stay in business is beyond me.
