> We now have two candidates who will fix Obamacare and make sure the foreign policy of the United States is run by the same people that have been doing it for the past eight years.

Past eight years? I'll bite my tongue on that one.

Without question, Cruz was the most vocal opponent of Obamacare - but how was his foreign policy going to be different? I keep hearing Obama has been weak on defense; it seems to me he's hellbent on provoking the Russians and working with the most shady and underhanded characters in the middle east. Cruz's VP selection wouldn't even talk to Putin. What is that!?

I've listened to John Batchelor for several years now - that's how I first became aware of this site (which I greatly enjoy, btw). I actually agree, in particular, with the things professor Stephen Cohen has to say; perhaps I missed it, but I didn't hear Cruz offer any serious departures from the (RINO) status quo in this regard - and making the sand glow is not a solution.

I don't like the options either. Politics seems to be a game where even the winners are losers.

"Mnuchin is a former Goldman Sachs partner and worked for liberal mega-donor George Soros’s hedge fund."

This can't be! I was assured that Trump was an anti-establishment candidate and told in the comment section of this very blog that if a candidate had anyone from Goldman Sachs even associated with him that the candidate was establishment.

It feels almost as though I've been lied to.
