That&#039;s a point but the craft have differences.  One reason I think I heard for the Atlas being chosen by Dream Chaser and Boeing is that a Delta carrying them would drop stages in inconvenient places.

Also the cargo would need to be converted to the different carrier.  I remember cargos that converted from shuttle to EELVs had a 30%-40% weight growth of things needed to adapt.]]></description>
