First, one faction boycotts Mozilla for installing Eich as CEO, then a very different group wants to boycott Mozilla for not standing up to the bullies.
Almost a catch-22.

I also use Seamonkey and now find that it is not perceived as different from Firefox. This morning, using Seamonkey, when clicking on a link to an article on redstate.com, I got one of those pages that try to shame you for using Firefox (one extra click to get to the destination). It seems that the "browser ID" string which this browser sends to the web-host contains both the Seamonkey version number *and* the equivalent Firefox version number.
In my case, it looks like:

       Firefox/28.0 SeaMonkey/2.25

Argh!

Haven't tried SeaMonkey but Pale Moon is doing great for me. Easy to transfer and all add-on (AdBlock Plus) work. Faster too, but otherwise looks just like Firefox. And the programmer who created it, while not against gay marriage, voiced his dismay with Mozilla's decisions.
While I was at it I swapped my Chrome for Iron. Also just as good , although I haven't used it as much, but it made me feel better. I like Chrome and even many things from Google but for some reason I just don't trust them.
