I know your not in England….. But the phrase ” green and pleasent land” could not be more fitting!
Living in Scandinavia now, I see a lot of pine trees, and a lot of water…. But I miss the rolling fields and quirky geology of my homeland…
I hope you get chance to go down a slate mine whilst there…. I remember being awed as a child when my father took me down one…. It was cathedral-like in scale!
