I suspect a similar audit of the “walled garden” iPhone App Store would show a quite different result. I think this sort of behavior is not permitted by Apple.

Nevertheless, as the article points out, the Googles and Facebooks of the world have soooo many ways to keep track of what you want! Screenshots are hardly needed.
