A beautiful Hymn.

The history student in me, however, cannot let it pass that, while this hymn is beautiful, and was played, it was not the last song heard.

A piece call "Song of Autumn" often referred to as just Autumn, a popular song of the day, was last heard by several reports.

It is in dispute, of course. But, a minor one, that should not overshadow the more important fact: That these men stood their station, in this case with their instruments, and played to the end to help maintain calm in the face of certain death.
