There is some controversy over her birth date.

At the time of this recording she was either 67 or 77.

There is a better quality video that couldn’t be embedded, also a little better performanc, i think.

Wow! And, yeah what Tom said! As I was watching I thought, just how old is Charo? I remember seeing her on shows like, “The Love Boat” when I was an mid-teen! All that sort of stuff aside, I am amazed and impressed. I can barely learn to do one thing well, much less what folks like Charo (and many others) do!

I was “coochie-cood” by Charo at a show in Las Vegas in my first trip. It was quite shocking as she gets you before you have time to react. Not the worst experience ?
