"He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives."

I remember this as the first movie in which Robert Duvall was noteworthy. I loved the story, Peck as Finch, the music, and most of all, the setting and the timeless human values in both adults and children.

Thanks for posting this, Bob!
