People do not want NASA’s extreme safety in space travel. So why does that policy exist? For religious reasons? Guys who go by (very poor) boats every day between a city and an island, although they cannot swim. They take much higher risk than any astronaut. If one wants to save lives, then maybe give life jackets to poor people having such jobs all over the world, and increase the crew stay at the ISS by one day to finance it. But no one cares about saving lives. NASA’s safety policy cares not at all about such things, it is a symbol deliberately intended to increase the money corruption and to prevent effective space flight.
