When this was first released I was working in a record store back in the UK… I convinced the owner this tune would be a massive hit and he bought a large quantity of copies on vinyl..
It spent what seemed like an eternity hovering outside the top 40, and my boss gave me grief every day about my lack of ability to pick a hit….
That changed when it finally broke the top 40, went to Nr 1 for 4 weeks, and became one of the top selling singles of the year…
A beautiful song written and sung by beautiful ladies, and still brings beautiful memories 30 years down the road.. Thank you Bob and Edward!
