    Brings back fond memories of my visit to the Glass Studio at the Toledo Museum of Art.
    I also enriched my cultural experience with a visit to Tony Packo’s.

    One wonders just how many combined years of dedicated practice are represented by the artists here. It brings back memories of my tour of the Waterford facility in Ireland back in ’95. Absolutely exquisite!

    the teamwork is astonishing.
    “Here, i will crouch in a floor pit holding this metal mold
    while you lower a globe of molten glass eight inches
    from my face,” kind of teamwork.

    I won’t even let a co-worker stand near at my workbench
    when i’m using super-glue or a dremel tool.
    These Glassmen know the job and each other. Much to be proud of.
