747 designer dies at 95

R.I.P. Joe Sutter, Boeing’s lead designer for the design and construction of the 747, has passed away at 95.

    What a legacy!, one the most recognizable aircraft in the world with more still being built!

    A half-century run on manufacturing. Not many aircraft enjoy that honor; the 737 and the C-130 come to mind as other examples.
