Mystery at LHC confounds theorists

The uncertainty of science: New data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) does not correspond to the Standard Model of physics, and suggest the possibility that one or two previously unpredicted particles might exist.

Then again, the explanation could be as simple as instrument error. We will have to wait and see.
