NASA Might Merge its Exploration and Operations Directorates

More evidence that the American government manned spaceflight program is dying: NASA is considering a merger of its Exploration and Operations directorates. Without a shuttle, there really is no need for Operations.

    Really, its not like they will have much human operations to do soon.

    Heads up – were going to be flying 1/8 th as many people a year, and the Russians will be flying them. No complex servicing or construction missions. Beyond LEO maned missions are no longer to be considered. Not even much development of ships on the horizon.
