The low information congresswoman: Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) thinks the Constitution is 400 years old.
It is bad enough that the voters don’t know much about their country’s history. It is terrifying to find out how little some elected officials know.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Operational ignorance. This is a person that thinks emotionally about the Constitution as a living document. She has no idea what its about, when it was written, or why it was written. All she knows it is that it is a weapon that she has been taught is her enemy and the means of “her” peoples oppression because it was written by a bunch of rich white men.
I do not dislike these people, I understand that they are the products of their training, they find it very difficult to be more than their training. And I am not saying that racism has not and does not exist, it does. I dislike how they think. What I am saying is that there are several generations that have been indoctrinated to think in these narrow ways and in doing so condemn themselves to live in one continuous loop, one un Constitutional, ignorant loop.
