The IRS and Obama administration planned to criminally prosecute its opponents
Working for the Democratic Party: New Justice Department documents released today show that in 2010 the Obama administration and the IRS were conspiring to criminally prosecute opponents of the Obama administration.
Judicial Watch today released new Department of Justice (DOJ) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents that include an official “DOJ Recap” report detailing an October 2010 meeting between Lois Lerner, DOJ officials and the FBI to plan for the possible criminal prosecution of targeted nonprofit organizations for alleged illegal political activity.
The newly obtained records also reveal that the Obama DOJ wanted IRS employees who were going to testify to Congress to turn over documents to the DOJ before giving them to Congress. Records also detail how the Obama IRS gave the FBI 21 computer disks, containing 1.25 million pages of confidential IRS returns from 113,000 nonprofit social 501(c)(4) welfare groups – or nearly every 501(c)(4) in the United States – as part of its prosecution effort. According to a letter from then-House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) to IRS Commissioner John Koskinen, “This revelation likely means that the IRS – including possibly Lois Lerner – violated federal tax law by transmitting this information to the Justice Department.”
This bears repeating: It is illegal for the IRS to give the confidential tax returns of citizens to anyone, including the Justice Department. Worse, having done so the IRS has given the very partisan Obama administration a giant treasure-trove of data it can use to smear and destroy its opponents.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

This is part of the dis incentivization / penalizing / criminalizing for a business to reward an employee, apparently created by the IRS without Congress consent (not that they need it). In order for Obamacare to be successful and we all know that the desired end result is the total taking over of the healthcare industry by the government and a single payer model.
Obama has the attitude of punishing his enemies and rewarding his friends.

That the DOJ got involved tells us that this issue and Obama’s attitude crossed department lines. It couldn’t have been possible without presidential approval, either explicit or implicit. Otherwise the president would have fired people.
The people in charge within the Obama administration are willing to break laws, engage in unethical practices, and violate constitutional rights. The ease with which they do this tells us much about how little they respect America, its people, its laws, and its foundations.
That we now have a law that allows for the creation of arbitrary rules and regulations — with the force of law — by the unelected bureaucrats of the many departments and agencies of the federal government, as Cotour pointed out above, shows how little control of government that We the People have through our elected representatives. These elected representatives created that law to purposefully relinquish their duty and their control of the government. These bureaucratic rules and regulations do not go through the checks and balances process that laws must go through, but — as we see — the punishment for disobeying the bureaucrats can be excessive.
We live in a country under a system of regulation without representation, and it is being run in an arbitrary and lawless manner.
We already knew this though. I am not sure if there is anything new to this reporting?
I have never been a black helicopter / conspiracy sort of guy. However . . .
Now that I have seen 6.5 years of this administration at work, have watched the IRS conspire with the DOJ and the WH to silence and criminally prosecute political opponents, and have learned of the reach of the NSA, I have to wonder about a couple things.
Is there a reason so many GOP Senators and Congressmen are now carrying Obama’s water? A lame duck president?
Is there a reason Justice Roberts initially voted to strike down Obamacare in Round 1, only to suddenly change his mind? And then uphold it again in Round 2–both times rewriting the language to mean something it obviously did not?
There is something else going on, I fear, and it is akin to a man in a fedora and black suit sitting down on a park bench next to someone else of importance, handing him an envelope, and walking away.
I no longer trust anyone, anywhere, period.
