TSA agents were trained to save themselves, not passengers, during the Friday’s LA airport shooting.

I’m shocked, shocked! TSA agents were trained to save themselves, not passengers, during the Friday’s LA airport shooting.

In other words, the TSA is all show, not reality, and does nothing to protect us from violent attack. Instead, it serves only one real purpose: to train Americans how to give up their personal privacy and freedom.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

    This is disgraceful.

“… a TSA source claims that if a mass shooting unfolded in any airport, they were to save their own lives.”

It isn’t as though they are there to protect us, or anything.

    Oh, wait …

“Also on Friday, Tiffany Hawk, a former flight attendant with United Airlines and Virgin America wrote an opinion on CNN on whether the TSA agents should be armed or not, thinking as liberals usually do, that gun-safe zones is the answer.”

Yet another “gun-safe” zone has yet another gun attack. The bad guys choose the gun-free zones far more over the gun-toting zones. Can anyone tell me the last time someone shot up a police station?

Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle was shot at a shooting range by a fellow shooter, but the shooter didn’t go there to shoot people.

In fact, I have to go back to John Hinckley, Jr., before I can think of anyone who went into an area full of guns in order to specifically shoot at people.

So we make our safety checkpoints gun free zones, and we make sure that our protectors protect only themselves. It isn’t as though airports haven’t been shot up, before. Indeed LAX was a previous target of a gun attack, so what did they learn from that time? Where were the people who WERE responsible for protecting the passengers and the rest of the public?

Remind me again the point of having a TSA, waiting in long lines so that we can take off our shoes and belts (guard those pants, guys), and having those porno-o-vision machines and the nipple-squeeze procedure.

    I’m not surprised.

And seriously folks. Have any of you really looked at those TSA agents? I wouldn’t trust them with a gun.

Heck one operated his xray machine all day and the thing was NEVER plugged in.
Half couldn’t pass a physical test to qualify as a police officer.
Half have NEVER touched a weapon before and only took the job because it was a government job.
Over half are probably liberals who would never touch a gun.
And I bet quite few could never pass the background checks or psychological exam/test needed to become a cop.

Out of all that how many do you think would ever be left to carry a weapon and use it safely?

It has already been ruled that the police do not have the responsibility to protect us so why would we expect these ‘people’ to do what even the cops do not do?

Really look at the security areas of the airports you use next.
If it was not for the actual city police there no one would have a gun or really any training except to save themselves.

I’m not a frequent flier, so it doesn’t bother me the scans the TSA do. When the alternative is underwear and shoe bombers I prefer the scans.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

If you think its wrong then you should speak out. Especially when it doesn’t effect you YET.
But if you think its right and OK then I feel sorry for you.

Lets hope no cop ever thinks your hiding dope up your butt.
