    Well That explains why cats really really really go for a good laser pointer.

    They see that red like it the brightest thing in the world.

    All my cat sees is an empty food bowl. Even if its half full it still cries until I fill it.

    Our cone-rich fovea is especially useful for reading. Not something relevent in a feline world.
