Whistleblower of Google anti-right bias goes public after being threatened by Google
Reason #3,427,934 for not using Google: The whistleblower who has given more than 900 Google documents to both Project Veritas and the Justice Department demonstrating the tech giant’s anti-right bias and its attempt to influence future elections has gone public after being threatened by Google.
Project Veritas has released hundreds of internal Google documents leaked by Vorhies. Among those documents is a file called “news black list site for google now.” The document, according to Vorhies, is a “black list,” which restricts certain websites from appearing on news feeds for an Android Google product. The list includes conservative and progressive websites, such as newsbusters.org and mediamatters.org. The document says that some sites are listed with or because of a “high user block rate.”
One document shows how Google is ranking various established news sites, routinely favoring left-leaning news sites — including the Russian government’s RT news site — over more conservative media.
Meanwhile, once Google found out what the whistleblower was doing it called the police on him, claiming he was “unwell.”
After having been identified by an anonymous account (which Vorhies believes belongs to a Google employee,) on social media as a “leaker,” Vorhies was approached by law enforcement at his residence in California. According to Vorhies, San Francisco police received a call from Google which prompted a “wellness check.”
Vorhies described the incident to Project Veritas: “They got inside the gate, the police, and they started banging on my door… And so the police decided that they were going to call in additional forces. They called in the FBI, they called in the SWAT team. And they called in a bomb squad. … T]his is a large way in which [Google tries to] intimidate their employees that go rogue on the company…”
There are other search engines, such as DuckDuckGo and Yippy. Use them. There are other email services. Get off of gmail. The more the market supports Google competitors the more likely the company will reform its ways. At a minimum its power will be reduced.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Unfortunately a lot of google’s spying is through the purportedly open-source android cellphone operating system. Here is what a commenter on slashdot wrote:
“Clearly the easiest way to insure profit is to load the source code with tracking and advertising engines for passive income and then make sure the “Open” portion of the OS is IMPOSSIBLE to install in a functional fashion on any target hardware without lots of other licensing encumberments on the hardware / driver side or key APIs (Google Play Services).”

The only smartphone alternative is Apple who are about as bad as google on privacy plus ruinously expensive. I plan to go to two cellphones-a simple, non-smartphone and my usual el-cheapo android phone that I only turn on when I need to send a text message (seldom for me) or get driving instructions.
Isn’t retaliating against whistle blowers illegal in California? SWATing him is especially disgusting and also probably illegal.
I don’t watch the network news but considering journalism has taken on the mantle of defender of democracy over the last three years, this must be getting wall to wall coverage.
Bob,
please try https://www.startpage.com/ as a search-engine. it uses google but claims to remove all personal information before doing that. Please let us know about your opinion on this portal
Matthias: I have been using Startpage for about 9 years, and have recommended it in the past. However, because it uses Google’s algorithms this means it will also be at the mercy of Google’s political biases. It is for this reason I have been increasingly shifting to DuckDuckGo. Yippy is a new one, and needs some testing.
Hi Bob,
o, right. I understand.
I was looking at the topic from another angle.
The media is Leftist and Globalist in orientation and is doing what they can to shape what people in America and the world see, hear and understand about what is actually going on in the world. They selectively provide certain information and they apparently also selectively disrupt and corrupt information.

They choose to only report what serves them and their agenda and will go to great lengths to that end. These are no longer service companies providing access through technology, these are now politically active and biased essentially propaganda companies attempting to shape the minds of the public, and they are Left oriented at the minimum and Lefist at the max.
