The base of the Democratic Party has truly become nightmare to behold

They aren’t just mindless, they are driven by hate
I always say it is the audience that counts. No matter what idiocy the leaders on both sides of the political spectrum might propose, the real future is determined by what their base wants.
It is now very clear that the base of the Democratic Party is driven entirely by hate, envy, and a lust for power, based on an ignorance of history that is appalling. And my saying this not simply an opinion. It is founded on what that base itself has said repeatedly in the past year. First that base has increasingly thrown its support behind Hamas and its anti-Semitic hate of Israel and Jews. Next, it mourned the failed assassination attempts against Donald Trump, then celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk, a man whose primary goal was to foster free debate.
In this election season now that base is supporting a candidate in Maine, Graham Platner, who got a Nazi tattoo placed on his chest, and has made numerous hateful posts online over the years against anyone who disagreed with him.
In Virginia that base is excited to support a candidate for attorney general, Jay Jones, who enthusiastically called for the murder of his political opponents as well as the death of their kids.
And finally, in New York that base is rallying with great joy around an anti-Semitic Muslim, Zohran Mamdani, who hates the police and wishes to impose communism on that city. And the base showed its envy of the success of others at a big Mandani rally this past weekend, chanting without prompting over and over again that Mandani and New York’s Democratic Party governor Kathy Hochul should “Tax the rich!”
It was very clear that they weren’t chanting this to simply to re-distribute wealth, or to improve New York. No, it was very clear they wished to tax the rich because they wanted to destroy the rich. How dare such people have success when I don’t!
A better illustration of envy and hate could not be found. It also illustrates clearly the attitude of the entire base of the modern Democratic Party. They have been radicalized by the racist Marxist critical race theory that has been pushed in our educational institutions for years, a theory that looks at everything through the lens of oppression. If others are doing well, it is because they have oppressed someone else. If you are doing poorly it is because someone else is oppressing you.
It is never your fault. You never have any responsibility for your actions. It is always the fault of someone else. And because everything is determined by who oppresses who, it is thus better to oppress your enemies before they oppress you.
Nor are these odious ideas believed by a tiny minority. Even if Platner in Maine, Jones in Virginia, and Mandani in New York should all lose in their general elections, they are still going to attract about 40% of the vote in all three states. These numbers further explain why Democratic Party politicians have not disavowed any of these ugly candidates. They know their base, and wish to lead it.
Thus we must recognize that a very large percentage of Americans now make their decisions based hate and envy, and support communism and the lust for power over basic the American values of freedom and limited government. And this large population does so despite the repeated failures of all these ideas, failures that caused the death of millions.
To defeat such people is not going to be easy. It will take a long term and very firm resolve that I have never seen from loyal Americans during my entire life. And with the power-hungry people who now rule the Democratic Party, you better not lose one election, because based on their present attitude and recent actions they will never let you win another should they get in power. Just consider the three men to the right, all of whom represent the long term goals of this base.
Trump’s rise suggests that firm resolve might finally be rising to the surface, but its long term commitment remains decidedly uncertain. And it is further very uncertain whether that resolve is strong enough to defeat this new communist revolution of envy and hate.
I am an optimistic person at heart, which is why I haven’t written many political essays of late. The news in general is not good at all, and the future really does not look bright. I fear the overall apathy for decades by most Americans is going to allow the worst to gain power. It happened in Germany in the 1930s. It happened in Venezuela in the early part of this century. It has been happening in Germany, France, and Great Britain in the past decade. And it looks like it is happening now in America.
This reality, which my brain demands I face, is something I find far very painful to contemplate.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon or from any other book seller. If you want an autographed copy the price is $60 for the hardback and $45 for the paperback, plus $8 shipping for each. Go here for purchasing details. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

ZOHRAN: THE ISLAMIC AVENGER: NEW YORK, BRACE FOR IMPACT! (?)

It turns out that Zohran Mamdani (Weepy man boy), Democrat Socialist candidate for mayor of New York City is nothing more than just a biased, moralistic, ideological bigot. And he is an opportunistic Socialist representative of a hateful, anti-law and justice, anti-free enterprise, anti-private property Islamic political warrior avenger.
Spoken like a true “American”: https://youtube.com/shorts/k6IMqyT1-kE?si=fFp8vqe9NHhlmkf2
What is the purpose? https://youtu.be/WAWmaC-4vAY?si=HvYvH_jIRTyLiIhp
Democrat Socialists of America: “We want a democracy that creates space for us all to flourish not just survive and answers the fundamental questions of our lives with the input of all. We want to collectively own the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation. We want the multiracial working class united in solidarity instead of divided by fear. We want to win “radical” reforms like single-payer Medicare for All, defunding the police/refunding communities, the Green New Deal, and more as a transition to a freer, more just life. ”
Who talks like a Communist is usually a Communist.
WHEN EVERYTHING IS “FREE” NOTHING HAS VALUE: LEAST OF ALL YOUR SAFETY AND LIFE
Zohran Mamdani if elected will without doubt deliver the destruction to New York City seen in Chicago, Seattle and other “progressive” Democrat (Marxist) controlled cities. That is what Zohran and the Democrat Socialists of America, and the enemies of America intend for your country, because YOU AMERICA deserve it.

I know you did not create the image, but one way the left wins is by controlling our language. Those three assassins are in no way liberal. I think a better word is leftist. But you are a man of words and I’m sure you can come up with better.
It is frightening, but we are very close to a shooting civil war. As the Jews learned in Europe, if someone says they are going to annihilate you— believe them. If the Democrats ever control all three branches of our government, they have stated that they will nuke the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, and admit Puerto Rico and DC as states. Their next steps will be to cement their power. They will try to seize our guns. If that does not trigger a civil war, then America has lost. Pray for us.
Bob Wilson: You are right about the meme, but I chose not to change it. The point is clear. The meaning of the word liberal has become so debased I never use it anymore, but at the same time, everyone knows exactly to what it refers in this image.
He might get a lot of the secular vote–but I have a suspicion he might not be as weepy or as emo as he lets on.

“It happened in Germany in the 1930s. It happened in Venezuela in the early part of this century. It has been happening in Germany, France, and Great Britain in the past decade. And it looks like it is happening now in America.”
It isn’t that it looks like it is happening in America, it is happening in America. California became a one-party state in the past two decades, and it is so poorly run that people are fleeing by the million, and businesses are fleeing by the hundred (maybe even thousand).
Yet, with California in such a state of disarray, New Yorkers have failed to see the reality and are willing to go all communist.
It isn’t just the fires that burned down Paradise and large portions (multiple fires, multiple portions) of the Los Angeles area, it is also the homeowner’s insurance that is impossible to get from the reputable national insurance companies, the shoplifting that is in reality looting, the homeless that start half the fires here, the rioting that passes as “mostly peaceful” protest, the defunding of the police, the very high taxes for very little benefit, the overspending on homeless relief that does not relieve homelessness but enriches political friends (reward friends, punish Musk), the focus on Orange-man bad rather than fixing any problems, the rising cost of housing despite the impossibility to get insurance, the disastrous wildly expensive high speed rail project from a town near a prison to a town that with a tavern. (does that suggest a purpose of the project?), the tearing-down of the state’s dams and reservoirs, and it is the redistricting against the previous vote of the people for an independent redistricting commission.
I live among these leftists, here, and they are adamant and tenacious in their ways and opinions. Despite the problems they suffer through the only way to get them to change their minds is for their leaders to change policy, which they then follow as though they always believed in the latest meme. This is why the same people who voted for the independent redistricting commission are now so willing to vote to violate that very same vote. They have no principles themselves but rely upon their fearful leaders to direct them in what to think, or rather to feel. Leadership says, “Orange-man bad” and their followers do anything that they say. Same thing if the leadership says “Musk bad.” Same if they say that anyone is bad.
This blind followership is why California burns through huge sums of money, yet provides so few benefits to voters or to taxpayers.
One-party rule, marxism, communism, socialism, leftism, and modern liberalism (as it is often called) have shown themselves to not work everywhere they have been tried, in every way that they have been tried, and by everyone who has tried them. But somehow, the people who think they are the smart ones are willing to continue advocating for these failed methods of governance and are willing to continue to vote for them. No lessons are learned, and no lessons are applied, so now California-ism is spreading across the country and around the world.
