New studies show that the biggest risk to kids from COVID are the policies of governments
New studies about COVID-19 and its effect on children continue to show that the strigent health policies being demanded by government agencies like the CDC and WHO and many Democrats are actually the biggest health threat for children than the virus itself.
First, a major survey of 48,000 children who had become infected with COVID-19 has found that absolutely no healthy children died from the disease.
Dr. Marty Makary is a medical expert and professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Carey Business School. His research team “worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020.”
After studying comprehensive data on thousands of children, the team “found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.”
Let me repeat that. They looked at tens of thousands of kids under the age of 18 and could not find one case where a healthy child died. All recovered. None needed a vaccine, as their young and very strong immune systems did what those immune systems have always done, fought off a sickness to give them an immunity for the rest of their lives.
So kids are safe from COVID, even if they are not vaccined and actually catch the virus and get sick.
At the same time, other studies have found that both masks and the vaccines are actually a greater health threat to children than the virus itself.
The study described at this link outlining the negative consequences of mask use on children I have reported previously. It found that making children wear masks for hours guaranteed they were breathing carbon dioxide at levels at least three times the limits set by law, if not much higher.
The new data on vaccines however is even more troubling.
The paper in Vaccines calculated the “number needed to vaccinate” (NNTV) to prevent one COVID-19 death, using a million-person Israeli field study and “the most prominent trial data from regulatory phase 3 trials.” Because European side-effect reports vary widely due to different national reporting standards, the researchers used the Dutch national register of “individual case safety reports” — the highest in Europe — to gauge the number of severe and fatal side effects per 100,000 vaccinations.
They gauged that 16 cases per 100,000 vaccinations will develop “severe adverse reactions” and four people will die, which “tallies well” with the 3.4 deaths per 100,000 found in a recent analysis of the U.S. adverse reactions reporting system.
“Simply put: As we prevent three deaths by vaccinating, we incur two deaths,” according to the paper, though looking at phase 3 trial data alone, the “optimum case” is four deaths caused and 33 lives saved by vaccines. [emphasis mine]
The study did not break out the deaths by age group. Another similar study, which did, found that the vaccine did cause medical harm in children, though it did not provide information about their prior medical condition, or the number of specific deaths.
Both studies however suggest, but do not prove, that giving children these as yet unapproved vaccines is unwise. The data suggests that while healthy children are simply not in any danger at all from COVID-19, giving them a vaccine to prevent it is actually far more dangerous and could even kill them.
Does that mean government health agencies have looked at this data and adjusted the mask and vaccine policies so that children are not subjected to either unnecessarily?
Nah. Both the Biden administration and the CDC has doubled down on their demands that childrend remain masked in almost any public setting, and that they be vaccined fully and indiscriminately. From the first link above:
Rather than acknowledge this scientific reality, Makary says the CDC continues to use “flimsy evidence” to push the COVID vaccine upon children.
…He slammed the agency on Monday, saying it “overcounts Covid hospitalizations and deaths and won’t consider if one shot is sufficient.” According to Makary, this problem is systemic.
Makary says “a tremendous number of government and private policies” regarding the vaccination of children are dependent upon one questionable data point. The CDC claims 335 children under the age of 18 have died with a COVID diagnosis in their record. However, Makary reports that, “the CDC, which has 21,000 employees, hasn’t researched each death to find out whether Covid caused it or if it involved a pre-existing medical condition.”
“Without these data, the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices decided in May that the benefits of two-dose vaccination outweigh the risks for all kids 12 to 15,” Makary notes. “I’ve written hundreds of peer-reviewed medical studies, and I can think of no journal editor who would accept the claim that 335 deaths resulted from a virus without data to indicate if the virus was incidental or causal, and without an analysis of relevant risk factors such as obesity.”
Since the beginning of the Wuhan panic last spring, the policies and mandates issued by government agencies have been foolish, counter-productive, harmful, and political. They have had little direct connection with actual research, but have instead been driving by politics and the off-the-cuff intuition of the bureaucrats involved.
The result has been a badly damaged economy, the destruction of our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and the unnecessary loss of life among the most vulnerable, the elderly sick.
Now these same government officials, in their continuing panic, are coming after children. Woe to the future if something is not done to wrest power from these fools.

Not that I think anything will come of this proposed criminal investigation of a 40 year political realm player on the inside of government, but you never know. In time the administration may have to take him out and sacrifice him as these facts about his activities related to gain of function research in Wuhan and Covid 19 become better known by the public. In the thoroughness of time all will be revealed. Few in the SF Bay Area will object to a school mask mandate. Almost all wear masks in public and the vaccination rate here exceeds 42%. The government/media/social medua will tell us what to think and that is that in Northern California. My family has now moved to Texas and I’m getting our belongings packed. I have talked to “friends” and they want government mandated wages, healthcare and housing. They want confiscation of guns. Discussion is of no use and facts are irrelevant. They want only renewable energy and recognize that government is the only entity large enough to save the planet. There is no compromise possible. This is about feelings vs thinking.

I’m not buying the CO2 angle of masks. I believe these studies to be biased. The gas is easily capable of escaping any mask except a plastic bag. However, what makes re-useable masks a health hazard is the fact that they collect and concentrate pathogens. So, we put them back on our faces, and rebreathe the junk. Even with a robust immune system, eventually you’ll accumulate a high enough microbe count to make it toxic and get sick. Disposable masks are a pollution hazard. Only a matter of time before Greenpeace shows photos of sea turtles choking on masks and they’ll blame capitalists for being so evilly minded.

except that it does not escape, it is breathed back into the lungs with the very next breath. The mask becomes a reservoir of exhaled gasses, carbon dioxide among them and a reduced amount of oxygen than if the breather had not been wearing the reservoir. In addition, it is an impediment to airflow, so less gas is exhaled just due to the decreased pressure difference between the lungs and the mask. There are at least two mechanisms involved in the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the lungs.
We have known that children are not vulnerable to Wuhan flu from the time we closed the schools. This is not news to us.
Obama and this Wuhan panic remind me of the science fiction television series Babylon 5, in which a tyranny takes over the entire Earth. During the course of the series, we see how this happens. It is a historically tried and true method. The tyrants create fear and suspicion among the populace. First, frighten the population, get them to be afraid for themselves and afraid of each other. That allows the tyrants to introduce groups and organizations to control those who are in fear, to get them to do what the tyrants want them to do. There are several fears that our tyrants are spreading, specifically fear of the police and fear of other groups, a kind of xenophobia of other races, genders, religions, etc. Making the District of Columbia a military police state helps generate and propagate fear. The NAZIs did the same with the Reichstag. Global warming, the fear for our children’s future, was effective until most of the population figured out it wasn’t a problem. Once the populace is fearful, it is willing to hand over great power to government on the delusional belief that the government can save us if things go straight to hell.

Similar failure of government happened in many Democratically led cities around the country, when they allowed antifa (Anti First Amendment) and (Only Selected) Black Lives Matter to wreak havoc for months.
The government’s reaction to the Wuhan flu was to emphasize the bad and underplay the good. They got “experts” to help generate the most fear and to help perpetuate fear. They needed us to remain in devastatingly counterproductive lockdowns and continue wearing ineffectual masks in order to keep us in fear, either of the disease or of the government punishing us for noncompliance.
What is so amazing about the government reaction to the Wuhan flu is that New York City has managed to cause a large portion of its population to abandon the city. New York is a bit reminiscent of Chernobyl, a city abandoned because the Soviets had managed to make their power plant act like a dirty bomb. For New York, Wuhan flu acted like a dirty bomb, driving thousands out of the city and destroying its economy.
