Appeals court orders hack judge to dismiss Flynn case

Pioneer cover

From the press release: From the moment he is handed a possibility of making the first alien contact, Saunders Maxwell decides he will do it, even if doing so takes him through hell and back.

Unfortunately, that is exactly where that journey takes him.

The vision that Zimmerman paints of vibrant human colonies on the Moon, Mars, the asteroids, and beyond, indomitably fighting the harsh lifeless environment of space to build new societies, captures perfectly the emerging space race we see today.

He also captures in Pioneer the heart of the human spirit, willing to push forward no matter the odds, no matter the cost. It is that spirit that will make the exploration of the heavens possible, forever, into the never-ending future.

The DC Court of Appeals has ordered Democratic Party hack judge Emmet Sullivan to grant the Justice Department’s request to dismiss its case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

A three-judge panel on the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, in a 2-1 ruling, said the department’s decision to abandon the case against Flynn settles the matter, despite Flynn having reached a deal with prosecutors from special counsel Robert Mueller’s office to plead guilty to making false statements in connection with a now-discredited FBI probe into whether the 2016 Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

Having lost his prosecutor, Sullivan had tried as judge to take on that role himself to keep the case going. Such actions by a judge are beyond the pale, since judges are supposed to be the neutral arbiter in any legal proceeding. By taking sides in this unprecedented manner Sullivan should be impeached and removed from office. Don’t count on it however.

Note too that Sullivan was also the judge who managed the whitewash in the Awan case, allowing that guy to skate free despite clear evidence Awan acted as a spy for Pakistan while working as the IT expert in a number of Democratic congressional offices.

Every July, to celebrate the anniversary of the start of Behind the Black in 2010, I hold a month-long fund-raising campaign to make it possible for me to continue my work here for another year.

This year's fund-raising drive however is more significant in that it is also the 10th anniversary of this website's founding. It is hard to believe, but I have been doing this for a full decade, during which I have written more than 22,000 posts, of which more than 1,000 were essays and almost 2,600 were evening pauses.

This year's fund drive is also more important because of the growing intolerance of free speech and dissent in American culture. Increasingly people who don't like what they read are blatantly acting to blackball sites like mine. I have tried to insulate myself from this tyrannical effort by not depending on Google advertising or cross-posts Facebook or Twitter. Though this prevents them from having a hold on me, it also acts to limit my exposure.

Therefore, I hope you will please consider donating to Behind the Black, by giving either a one-time contribution or a regular subscription, as outlined in the tip jar below. Your support will allow me to continue covering science and culture as I have for the past twenty years, independent and free from any outside influence.

While I wish it was, this is not over.

There are plenty of liberal judges on that court that can call for an en Banc ruling.
And I think it would go in Sullivan’s favor.

IMCO* the goal is to drag this out to November, to try to impact voter opinion.
Either get a favorable ruling to convict and jail Flynn (so they can say the Admin was working with Russia) or force Trump to Pardon Flynn, and then try to use that against him. This is all swamp politics.

Your so polite by calling this “Swamp politics”, sounds like its a board game. This is political warfare of the first order! And there is a specific reason why that is.

Make no mistake about it, this right now is the most high pressure example of it that possibly there ever has been in American history. And the reason why it is that way is because, and I have pointed this out many, many times, Trump represents the real existential threat to the Liberal, now Leftist Democrat party in the realest terms that has ever existed.

This is how our system is structured to operate, political warfare, and is how it expresses itself when under such pressure. Its a good thing.

Trump is undoing and or breaking ALL of the Democrat leaderships programs and scams of the last 50 years. Trump is breaking their stuff in this war, and they do not like it. And he threatens their very existence and power.

All is being revealed, and that is due to one man and his agenda, and that is Trump.

” sounds like its a board game”

Politics, domestic and international, has always been described in gaming terms.
    Sporting and board games.

Why, even President Obama stated, “Our approach as the United States is not to see these as some Cold War chessboard in which we’re in competition with Russia,” Obama said. “Our goal is to make sure that the people of Ukraine are able to make decisions for themselves about their future, that the people of Syria are able to make decisions without having bombs going off and killing women and children … because a despot wants to cling to power.”

Of course he was wrong, and did not achieve those goals. But that is beside the point.
