BEAM module expanded successfully

NASA engineers today successfully completed the expansion of the Bigelow BEAM test module on ISS.

    Hmmm. It doesn’t quite look like the artist renditions. As others have commented in the “NASA Space Flight” forums, kinda scruffy looking, but looks aren’t everything. Pictures from inside the module next week will be interesting.

    Regardless, congratulations to Bigelow and NASA for a job well done.

    This whole magillah could have been avoided with a bit more of that old Apollo-era “can-do” from NASA. I’ll toot my own horn a little and link to a comment I made on this subject last Thursday over at Keith Cowing’s NASA Watch.

    Ya, it does look scruffy looking. Is it fully inflated in that picture? Anyone know why it looks so strange?
