Environmentalist organizations have once again petitioned the EPA to ban ammunition using lead.

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs." --San Antonio Express-News

Environmentalist organizations have once again petitioned the EPA to ban ammunition using lead.

The ban sought by environmental groups would not apply to ammunition used by law enforcement and the military. In addition to bullets and pellets used in hunting and recreational activity like range shooting, the petition seeks to limit the use of the metal in fishing tackle and weights.

Government agencies get a pass, but not private gun ranges, eh? These petty dictators have really only one goal, and it has nothing to do with protecting wildlife. They want to prevent private citizens from having access to ammunition, which in turn will prevent them from having access to guns.

Well, Robert, those suffering from the “psycho-sexual abberation” of wanting to be “In Charge” have always proposed this sort of thing..I cannot name one famous genocidal maniac who was in favor of the “Peons” having weapons….Including the British Labor Party… and the rest of the Euro-weenies….

  • In a sane world, EPA would require the petitioners to show cause: proof that lead ammunition is causing statistically significant levels of environmental aberration. What will actually happen, whatever the outcome, is that the petitioners will validate the feelings a great number of government employees have about themselves.

actually, this so-called law is a little step at dis-arming the citizens. it has nothing to do with environment but only uses that avenue to strike down Our rights in an otherwise free country
