EPA tells court it has lost text messages
The most transparent administration ever: The EPA has admitted that text messages demanded in a lawsuit, which the agency is required by law to retain, have been lost.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) told a federal court that it may have lost the text messages at the center of a lawsuit by a libertarian think tank. The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) sued the EPA last year in federal court to compel the release of text messages to and from Administrator Gina McCarthy and her predecessor under the Freedom of Information Act. In the Tuesday filing to the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, Justice Department lawyers representing the EPA said the agency will soon file a notice that it may have misplaced records that it was legally required to retain.
It seems pretty clear that the Obama administration has decided to follow the same playbook with all its many scandals: stonewall and coverup, legally or illegally.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Notice they say misplaced rather than accidentally destroyed. They might be out there yet.
Wow – same old, same old… What’s so disgusting about this is that it’s now become abundantly clear beyond all doubt that this lawless Regime has installed partisan toadies in every single Federal agency, and they all follow the “Delay, Distract, Obstruct” playbook to the tee. They are loyal only to Obama – not the country or the people. You would think there might be ONE – just ONE – agency that would obey the law. We can’t even trust our own military any longer, cause Obama’s basically booted all the loyal Patriots & installed yes-men there as well. It seems the only military willing to speak up are the ones who got the boot. Even the CDC is suspect now – I don’t believe anything they’re telling us about Ebola…
If so, they must be getting lax in their attempts to destroy all incriminating evidence. There seems to be a pattern of “Oops – the dog ate my homework!” here…
