“I am in a country that is not free.”
Story here. More details here.
I bet you cannot guess correctly the country to which the headline quote refers. I also bet you think it can’t happen here in the U.S. I beg to differ.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

This is the EU, this is England, you will submit or you will be secreted away and jailed. Sends quite a strong message to others who might think along similar lines.
I think we all know where this in time will be going.
FISA “secret” court, secret judges, the Patriot Act, 911, we are not as far away as we all might think. This is Beta test globalism, lower case “g”.

Tommy is in the Tower of London, figuratively of course. The powers that be in England have a history of reprehensible conduct for political and religious dissent: just ask William Tyndale, the Irish and the signers of the Declration of Independence.
The “spin doctors” (think Goebbels) will always come up with a seemingly plausible “spin” to make it seem right. In essence, keeping people from acting with outrage. We now know (after Obama) the tremendous power the Muslim community has exerted on democratic countries.
It happens first in the EU, then California, Toronto and Vancouver (NY city and Washington state). Then the rest of North America.
If the sixties were an example of a public uprising (this was orchestrated by Obama’s buddy Bill Ayers and crew) we should see an uprising from the right now: If not, it is sourly needed.
I wonder how many new of the BBC quick response in denying that London surpassed New York city in murders! While knives are the most used in the UK, there is a tremendous upsurge in violent crime there which will soon dwarf the worst US cities!
Yup, the spin doctors are hard at work in the UK.
This is certainly very scary to us Americans but this is the closest I have seen a reason given from the British POV, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDQF_Uo-Ns8
Still pretty ridiculous though.
