Conscious Choice cover

From the press release: In this ground-breaking new history of early America, historian Robert Zimmerman not only exposes the lie behind The New York Times 1619 Project that falsely claims slavery is central to the history of the United States, he also provides profound lessons about the nature of human societies, lessons important for Americans today as well as for all future settlers on Mars and elsewhere in space.

Conscious Choice: The origins of slavery in America and why it matters today and for our future in outer space, is a riveting page-turning story that documents how slavery slowly became pervasive in the southern British colonies of North America, colonies founded by a people and culture that not only did not allow slavery but in every way were hostile to the practice.
Conscious Choice does more however. In telling the tragic history of the Virginia colony and the rise of slavery there, Zimmerman lays out the proper path for creating healthy societies in places like the Moon and Mars.

“Zimmerman’s ground-breaking history provides every future generation the basic framework for establishing new societies on other worlds. We would be wise to heed what he says.” —Robert Zubrin, founder of founder of the Mars Society.

Pushback: Computer repairman who exposed Hunter Biden’s laptop sues media for slandering him

Adam Schiff, a pathological slanderer and liar
Any media that blindly repeats anything out of this guy’s mouth
risks getting sued for slander

Fight back twice as hard: The owner of the computer repair shop, who legally uncovered the laptop that belonged to President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden and exposed significant evidence of corruption by both, has now filed a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against CNN, Politico, the Daily Beast, and Congressman Adam Schiff (D-California).

John Paul Mac Isaac was highlighted in a blacklist column in March, noting how his entirely legal effort to expose extensive corruption by Joe Biden and his son prior to the election caused him to be harassed, threatened, and driven to bankruptcy. While he lived in hiding because of the physical threats against him, Isaac also found it impossible to get unemployment insurance because of stone-walling by the Delaware unemployment department, stone-walling that only ended when Isaac wrote of letter of complaint to the state’s junior senator.

Isaac’s nightmare began when Democrats like Schiff began spreading lies against him, suggesting without any evidence that he was a treasonous Russian agent and had even obtained the laptop illegally. Mainstream media outlets acting as Democratic Party operatives immediately republished those lies as if they were true, despite the reality that only a tiny amount of due diligence would have revealed them to be lies.

An earlier lawsuit by Isaac against Twitter was thrown out by the courts, leaving him with about $175K in legal bills. This new lawsuit however is now possible because of new sponsorship.

But Mac Isaac now has well-heeled backers at nonprofit The America Project, which was founded by Trump loyalists retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn, brother Joe Flynn and businessman Pat Byrne.

“[We are] honored to sponsor John Paul Mac Isaac in his fight against the injustice that has been done to him when the political elite coordinated with the leftist news media claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation — which was a blatant lie,” the group said. “The synchronized efforts of these parties to wield their words like weapons are evident through years long continuous coverage that led to extreme public backlash against JP and the closing of his business.”

Michael Flynn’s support of Isaac is understandable, as Flynn was one of the first people subjected to blacklisting early in the Trump administration by the Democrats and the mainstream leftist media.

While it is doubtful the lawsuit will be successful against Schiff, since the Constitution protects elected officials from such lawsuits, it has strong merit against CNN, the Daily Beast, and Politico, all of whom willingly spread the same lies against Isaac and the laptop.

The suit claims CNN knowingly broadcast the “false and defamatory story” that the laptop was linked to a Russian disinformation campaign, causing Mac Isaac significant damage, including the closing of his repair shop. “CNN’s broadcast of the false statement accuses the Plaintiff of committing an infamous crime, i.e., treason by working with the Russians to commit a crime against the United States of America by attempting to undermine American democracy and the 2020 Presidential election,” the suit states.

Similarly, Mac Isaac accuses the Daily Beast and Politico of peddling disinformation about the laptop in two articles published on both sites.

The Daily Beast falsely suggested that Isacc stolen the laptop by saying he had “purloined” it, while Politico pushed the false claim by 51 intelligence officials that the labtop was simply “Russian disinformation.”

In all three cases, these media outlets — rather than check the facts and report them accurately — instead eagerly parroted the false claims being put out by Schiff and the partisan intelligence community, all aimed at furthering the election of Joe Biden.

Sadly, the worst villains in this story will never face punishment. These villains are the numerous ordinary people in Delaware who harassed and threatened Isaac so viciously that he lost his business and was forced into hiding, merely because these ordinary people blindly believed on faith the lies told to them by the media and Democratic Party hacks like Adam Schiff. Like a maddened lynch mob these people stopped thinking and allowed their emotions to dictate their actions. And Isaac became the victim of their lynching.

The free citizens of a republic should know better. Use your brains. Think carefully about what you do. And above all, don’t turn into a mob of peasants carrying torches and pitchforks. And this applies to both liberals and conservatives. Such actions are beneath you.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer liar and slanderer.

“While it is doubtful the lawsuit will be successful against Schiff, since the Constitution protects elected officials from such lawsuits …”

I think Congresscritters are only protected for statements they make on the floor of Congress (and probably in committee meetings as well). If they go on a Sunday morning talk show to make defamatory statements, they’re as open to being sued as anyone else.

  • Ishmael: You may be right. Here is the actual language in the Constitution, Section 6:

They shall in all cases, except treason, felony, and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective houses, and going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either house, they shall not be questions in any other place.

That language certainly leaves open the possibility that Schiff could be sued for his lies and slanders on CNN.

  • Although the public may be surprised to learn that Members of Congress have, in effect, a license to defame private individuals, such is the current state of the law.

Politics of this sort, like it or not, and Schiff is one of the dirtiest players, is necessary.

Why? Because it is but one more opportunity for the Political Realm players to transmit exactly who and what they and their politics are to the Pedestrian Realm audience.

This is but one more example how the Constitution structures this political warfare that must play out before the people.

And there are in real terms two realms of existence in America because of it. In the Pedestrian Realm things are good and bad, black and white, just and unjust. And in the other realm structured by the Constitution, the Political Realm, things are an amorphous gray, and they are as need be.

It sounds counter intuitive to those in the Pedestrian Realm who generally see things only in their good and bad, black and white, just and unjust perspective, but this is an excellent example of these two realities that exist in America.

Please sir, may I have some more?

(And we can all see what the Democrats and their now very extreme Leftist driven, and very desperate un and anti-American politics have brought them. Why was the Supreme Court opinion on Roe mysteriously leaked to the media? How hard do you think the FBI investigation of the clerks and associates who will be professionally destroyed if discovered they leaked those documents will be?

IMO, not very hard. They look out for their own and the more chaos, fear and outrage they can generate in the minds of the Pedestrian Realm the better for both political parties.

The one without the counterbalance of the other is disaster. And the Democrats are pretty close to becoming nonexistent because of their desperate extremism which is based in a real dislike for America as founded. The Democrats through their un and anti-American philosophy are being revealed for what they are. And they did it all themselves. The Constitution provides everyone, especially those in the Political Realm all the rope they need to hang themselves and for all to see. And so, they shall hang.

We are all being managed in pursuit of political gains. Let the game play on)

    Up to and including murder:

    https://nypost.com/2022/05/04/suspicious-russian-oligarch-deaths-match-kremlin-playbook-sources/

Its a little different in Russia, the government does not from the jump care much about what anyone in their Pedestrian Realm has to say about anything. Not unless or until they revolt and come and find them at night with their torches and pitch forks and hang them that is. Russian political power is absolute there exists no Constitution of any consequence that structures anything other. The same goes for the Communist Chinese.

If those in the American Pedestrian Realm continue to see specifically our American political process only through their morally based Pedestrian Realm lens and are not even aware of the existence of the purely Strategic Political Realm conversation which is about the preservation of political power at any cost, then all they will see is their morality and confusion and chaos will rule. You believe you are having one conversation, but another conversation you are not even aware of rules.

And who do Pedestrians look to when chaos and confusion rules and disrupts their morally based reality perspective? Anyone who has the ability through their high political profile and appeal to tell them that everything will be OK and that they have the answers to their problems, and those answers are based in their morality. (Which is usually a blatant lie)

And this is what constitutes the two conversations where one of the participants in the conversation does not even see that there is in fact another conversation ongoing where their morally based opinion is optional.

I see the evidence of these two conversations every day in the conversation I have and those in the Pedestrian Realm not even having a clue that there is in fact a whole nother conversation ongoing. And in their confusion political power is further secured through the morally based Pedestrian Realm individuals ignorance.

I see it every day and it is very interesting when I am able to point this condition out explaining things from the ground up and you can see in their eyes a little light beginning to glow. Although it is grudgingly recognized.

And after point after point is agreed to, they still cling to their personal morality model perspective. And it takes many conversations, no yelling, no screaming, but that light begins to glow.

And that is what we are witness to today in American politics and the political extremism the public sees before them. The people in the public, the everyday citizen may not understand things in the Pedestrian Realm V Political Realm manner, but they know something is wrong and that they must make a change.

And that fact is why the Democrat party machine and administration must do everything that they can, legally and illegally as long as they can get away with it, to pervert and corrupt the voting and election system structured by the Constitution.

What is the Constitution? The Constitution is the counter balance to the nature of man related to the abuse of power.

The beauty, strength and relevance of the Constitution is its simplicity.
