Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

Rodeo clown forces decimated and on the run!

Rodeo clown forces decimated and on the run!

As every Constitutional scholar knows, the First Amendment includes a clause that strictly forbids mockery of the President of the United States, depending on who it is, and which party he belongs to. It’s in one of the penumbras of the Constitution, or maybe it’s an emanation. I always get those two mixed up.

Once again, the thugs of the Democratic Party are working to destroy someone, merely because that person happened to express a negative opinion about their Democratic president.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

The response to this nonsense should be that at no time did the Democrats, the mainstream media, or the left object to eight years of hateful portrayals of the previous sitting president, George W. Bush. Nor did they object to the savage characterizations of a duly elected governor, Sarah Palin. For that matter, after years of venom directed at Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, no one among those groups has condemned the practice. Therefore they have forfeited their ability to raise objections to the clown’s behavior.

On a broader scale, as the Democrats, the MSM, and the left have remained silent as the Obama administration has vastly exceeded the bounds of its authority, defied Congress and the courts, and ignored the U.S. Constitution, they have likewise forfeited all entitlement in the future to object to similar behavior by a Republican administration. Their own hypocrisy will lead to their destruction.

Well I can see who is going to be the next guy audited by the IRS and secretly investigated by the FBI. Even before any real investigation is called for. Can’t stop a dedicated liberal union member.

A distraction and an attempt to control the cultural conversation. Just like this.

“An MSNBC panel on what must have been an excruciatingly slow news day decided that conspiracy theories and a “radical libertarian” agenda inspired Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to bomb the Boston Marathon.”

Point a finger at a clown mocking a sitting president, turn radical Islam into radical libertarianism, its all about churning and keeping the people concentrating about what is not relevant.
