Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

Three leftist protesters arrested in Chicago

Brownshirts: During a leftist protest today in Chicago, where the protesters wore masks and chanted “Cops and Klan go hand in hand,” three demonstrators were arrested when they tried to block traffic.

Remember, these people are not demonstrating against any real racism or oppression. What they are protesting is the existence of the United States and American culture. Anything they can do to destroy it will please them.

I must add that a red flag should immediately be raised against anyone who requires a mask to protest. If you do not have evil intent you have no reason to hide your face.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

We are long past the time when harsh language and impassioned pleas to the uneducated and clearly inferior cultures in the USA will do any good. Illegal aliens and Hyphenated ‘Americans’ are nothing but the lapdogs for the Democratic party, all in hopes of getting free handouts money and food, and of course , cellphones. This in exchange for an illegal vote for HRC. Good GOD , our last CRIMINAL, TRAITOR POTUS , Barry O, just before the election openly encouraged illegal voting, as long as it was for the queen of darkness. Why can’t we lock these gangsters up? We seem to be rounding up M13 with no sweat whatsoever, but the Democrats as a whole remain untouchable. As long as they have a proper trial, Sic Semper Tyrannis

    North Carolina General Statute 14-12.7
No person or persons at least 16 years of age shall, while wearing any mask, hood or device whereby the person, face or voice is disguised so as to conceal the identity of the wearer, enter, be or appear upon any lane, walkway, alley, street, road, highway or other public way in this State.
I do not understand why this law is ignored by law enforcement.

The current situation has the potential to get very ugly.

I have sworn a oath twice, to protect and defend the Constitution, from all enemies,
domestic and foreign. I have never rescinded my solemn vow.

Chicago has quite the historical bent for anarchy-related activity.
    Reference: “Haymarket Riots of 1886.”

    Danny–
Thanks for referencing that N.C. Statute. (I’d be interested it the history of it’s formulation.) Michigan has something similar, but I can’t readily locate a link. I believe it came about as a response to klan activity in the 1920’s.

If you do not have evil intent you have no reason to hide your face.

Just out of curiosity, how do you feel about people who post to the internet anonymously or use handles?

  • Jim Davis: An excellent question. Personally, I think those that do not use their real name have far less creditability, and get that from me. I put my name behind everything I write, and think everyone should do the same.

The ability to hide on the internet, on Twitter especially, is the cause of a lot of our problems, as it has allowed bad people to say vile things without consequences. Worse, it has allowed them to team up (which seems impossible but is happening) to destroy those they disagree with.

When you sign your own name to what you write, it forces upon you personal responsibility, forcing you to write like an adult and treat others with respect.
