Conscious Choice cover

From the press release: In this ground-breaking new history of early America, historian Robert Zimmerman not only exposes the lie behind The New York Times 1619 Project that falsely claims slavery is central to the history of the United States, he also provides profound lessons about the nature of human societies, lessons important for Americans today as well as for all future settlers on Mars and elsewhere in space.

Conscious Choice: The origins of slavery in America and why it matters today and for our future in outer space, is a riveting page-turning story that documents how slavery slowly became pervasive in the southern British colonies of North America, colonies founded by a people and culture that not only did not allow slavery but in every way were hostile to the practice.
Conscious Choice does more however. In telling the tragic history of the Virginia colony and the rise of slavery there, Zimmerman lays out the proper path for creating healthy societies in places like the Moon and Mars.

“Zimmerman’s ground-breaking history provides every future generation the basic framework for establishing new societies on other worlds. We would be wise to heed what he says.” —Robert Zubrin, founder of founder of the Mars Society.

Trump picks Kavanaugh for Supreme Court

Link here. Kavanaugh’s track record places him no worse than middle-of-the-road Kennedy, whom he replaces, but more likely leaning more to the right. How far will remain for time to decide.

Expect a lot of slander, over-the-top attacks, and vicious opposition from the left, based not on facts but on their insane thirst for power, now certain to shrink significantly.

    Clarence Thomas Senate confirmation Hearing’s
    “A High-Tech Lynching”

  • Phill O

Conservatives had the “Tea Party” movement which went, on the whole, law abiding and peaceful. The liberals retaliated with the occupy movement which obeyed no demonstration laws and was not peaceful for many. Reminds me of how Hitler used the “Brown Shirts” to gain power. History seems to indicate he threw the brown shirts under the bus when he got power.

Many on this site have related the lefts use of Nazi tactics in opposing conservatives (Trump is just their focus). As a Canadian who has more close friend in southern NM and AZ than in Canada, I must agree with the majority here.

This is a world problem, probably related to a “One World Government” idea.

However, I have hope, due in part, to the conservative sweep that seems to be started. First, Trump was elected. Ontario (which has the worlds largest non-nation debt) has voted 77% for a conservative government. My hope is that this culminates with the national government to become conservative and also that for Alberta, which should happen in 2019.

I believe people are feed up with how the left desires to brainwash their kids (this is a big issue) and also the large tax increases seen with the leftist governments (there is a strong link between peoples hearts and their pocket books). Also, this is driven home with the growth of the US economy and the recession in Canada, brought in part from the huge tax burden needed to support the vast number of refugees.

European governments are trying to hide the problems related to their open border policies, but the general population, I believe, is not buying it. Thanks to the news outlets on the internet. The unprecedented attacks on old Trumpy just help people move from the liberals to the conservatives. Economy and social security are predominant in peoples minds.

My concern is the Bush theme that permeates this nomination. He appears to be the “perfect” nominee. I don’t necessarily like perfect.

The fact that his wife served as Bush jr’s. assistant for 5 years and that he prominently mentioned 911 in his speech which tells me that he is non questioning and is on board with the given government and media narrative is problematic to me.

What happens if in the future there emerges a case before the Supreme Court that has to do with the veracity of the government (The Bush’s) 911 narrative? With the non traditional status quo political trajectory of the past 30 years that we are on at the moment that IMO may become a potential. Then what? (As crazy as that potential seems to many here)

The big show will be the Democrats who can not for one moment allow any further wins on the part of president Trump as they are in their internal and unavoidable internal transformative self destruction to be reborn into what I am not sure. It will be insane and the craziest hearings that have ever occurred in the Senate and the country.

The Democrats can do nothing other than cause further chaos, confusion and fear. At this point in time since they are now the party of everything anti American that is all they have left.

Like Cotour, I to have my reservations. You can’t be part of the Ken Star cover up investigation, that went nowhere and did nothing about so many different illegal activities that were directly associated with the Clintons, and come away without dirt on your hands or something in your past that will be held over you. (by both sides)
When the deep state consolidated and unified control of all intelligence agencies and law enforcement with the homeland security act under bush, he was there.
The first question asked when they mentioned he was from Yale university was “is he a member of skull and bones?”
He grew up and lived in DC his whole life, he knows how the game is played. Like cotour said, he is perfect.
With all the shenanigans being pulled in universities today, can you teach in three Ivy League schools and not be aware or affected?
In the interviews I have heard of people who know him personally, again perfect.
He has connections to all the right schools and every branch of government. They all like him and think they have a string tied to him. The perfect nominee.
He helps out the poor, feeds the homeless, coaches a girls basketball team, and is a good father… He is the perfect person.
He talks, acts, lives like a conservative. but the ruling on Obama care, that he was involved in, re-writing the law from the bench, changing the fee into a tax, forcing Americans to buy a government mandated product, worries me. He will be in a position to either fix it, or not. I guess, we will see…

    Phill O,
Very good observations and comments. Yes, this is a new world order thing. We know this because it’s falling apart everywhere it is been tried. They are trying to rewrite human nature without changing our DNA. (they will soon be doing that also)
To add insult to injury in Canada, your president is still working against you, funding terrorist organizations with public money. This is what he was doing when your country was watching soccer.

Even though hate for the Christians and Jews is preached weekly in the mosque, the money will be used to bring more problems to your country.
It could be worse, you could be in Sweden.

From the second link: “Democrats vow to vote ‘No’ on Supreme Court nominee regardless of whom Trump picks

A perfect example of prejudice, bias, and bigotry.

From the third link: “The Facebook event photo for Monday night shows a Ku Klux Klan hood on the generic justice figure.

What an interesting choice of visual, considering that the KKK was made up of Democrats.

  • Cotour

Another in the growing concerns related to Kavenaugh:

Remember that decision that Roberts made regarding the fine details when the Supreme Court had to rule on Obama care? You began to read the decision and yes the government can not compel the people to buy anything, then you kept reading and found out some special Supreme Court thinking. Well guess who apparently came up with the justification for calling the democrats “penalty” a tax? Thats correct, Brent Kavenaugh.

“he cultivated a theory that ultimately led Chief Justice John Roberts to uphold the mandate.” I remember I was outraged and wrote about it here.

I do not like how this is laying out, but it is what it is, its American politics, and American politics demands placing certain people strategically within the power structure (To protect who may need protecting? Sounds just like the unraveling and corrupt FBI / DOJ “Investigation” into the Trump campaign and Russian “collusion”).

Too paranoid? We have the deep Yale connection, we have the deep Bush connection, he says he is here to interpret the Constitution but finds intellectual judicial ways to justify Obamacare. Like is said, I don’t necessarily like a “perfect” fit, this guy is able to talk himself into what ever position he needs to be talked into. At least that what it looks like. This may turn out to be a demerit on the Trump presidency. (Should have chosen Mike Lee)

And to address the Democrats and their resistance to this (And all other) nominations to the Supreme Court, they can do nothing else, they have put themselves in this position and it is a part of their existential political death spiral.

Trump could nominate Jesus and the democrats would have to oppose him. “We hate Jesus”, “Harass Jesus when you see him at a restaurant”, “If you see Jesus getting gas shout at him and shame him”, “Jesus pinched my butt and tried to kiss me when we were in the desert and he had Joseph pay me off with two goats to keep me quiet”, “Get Jesus !”, the democrats would shout. They can do nothing else.

A BS political party based fundamentally in lying because if they actually shared what their agenda really was they would scare the freedom out of us all.

  • Cotour

And here is the well spoken, young, vibrant, and cute 28 year old “savior” of the democrat party. (?, Really?)

This young lady will further split the democrat party into thirds, the Socialist / radicals / Leftist / Communists, the Liberal democrats and the just plain old every day American democrats.

She does not like “labels”. Of course she does not like labels, why? Because she is a full blood Socialist / Communist “Progressive” when you label her! Over time as she interacts with her opponents and we all hear her spouting her Socialist wealth confiscation and redistribution non sense she will be revealed and the democrat party will continue its existential political death spiral that will probably last for the next 20 years before it is reconciled in some coherent way with what America is and will continues to be.

Trump clearly and dramatically draws a bright line distinction between these ridiculous democrats and himself and the rest of America. There is no more ambiguity and confusion remaining in American politics. And politicians, especially democrat politicians love, love, love ambiguity and confusion in the minds of the American public. Why? So they can get to tell them what to think and how to feel.

  • Phill O

Max, I agree with you on how Trudeau is screwing up Canada (big time). We will be Sweden very soon. I am not looking forward to crossing the border come Nov, as the threat from Canada will be met with increased security; or at least it should.

I am told that Justin’s mother urged him not to legalize pot as it was what got her started down a dark road.

  • Cotour

One more excellent positive indicator that the Democrat leadership is so bereft of anything of value except panic and desperation as they set course for the political power desert for the next 10 maybe even 20 years.

Bret Kavanaugh had an interaction with a young woman ……………………….IN HIGH SCHOOL!

Another Sparticus moment, pure strategy no morality to be seen or found.

    Keep it going Democrat leadership.
