An evening pause: Something different, profound, and riveting. Listen. Listen close. It refers to you.

Hat tip Mike Nelson.

    It does, and it doesn’t.

She’s extremely gifted, a rapper worthy of the acclaim she’s earned from all the right (leftist) pundits. Poor thing, life has been intense for her lately, because of the distressing political situation in Britain. She’s extremely fearful of UKIP gaining power.

  • danae: Why does everything have to be political? I listened to her poem, and saw it for what is was, a well crafted dramatic rendition of the human condition in a mysterious universe.

In this case, I don’t give a whit what her politics are. She produced a work of art, and I respect that above all.

Why does everything have to be political? With all due regard for your customary fairness, Bob, that may be a question better asked of Ms. Tempest. I respect her aptitude for writing and performing, and I respect your evaluation of her work.
