  • Dang, that’s creative! See, without Windows, that wonderful entertainment would have been denied us!

    With tongue in cheek, remind me to send you my photo of the Linux penguin which graced the crashed airplane seat entertainment screen all the way across the Atlantic! It first announced “Please Wait While Seat Reboots”–which sounded omniously painful, then the penguin and many lines of error codes provided hours of still-life entertainment, albeit without the music in this video. Though a PC man, I admit I’d not be comfortable running the airplane on Windows–might sound something like this: “The captain advises fastening your seatbelts while he completes an antivirus scan and reloads the drivers for the wing flaps…”
