- Vast Space, which hopes to build a commercial space station, has purchased the orbital tug company Launcher
This acquisition occurred just days after Launcher revealed the complete failure of its first orbital tug in orbit shortly after deployment. Vast will continue Launcher’s tug and rocket engine operations, but abandon its plans to build its own rocket.
- Celestis announces that the DNA from the remains of four past presidents will fly on the first launch of ULA’s Vulcan rocket
On this same rocket Celestis is also flying ashes or DNA from many actors or creators from Star Trek.
