Democrats at climate forum: Ban everything!
Fascists: When asked by CNN interviewers during that network’s seven hour pro-Democratic climate forum yesterday what they would do to prevent global warming, it appears that the primary solution by every Democratic presidential candidate was to ban things.

Over the course of the television extravaganza, Democrats’ leading 2020 presidential candidates floated a variety of proposals to cut Americans’ energy use and, ostensibly, to stop the climate from changing. Among them: Bans on plastic straws, red meat, incandescent lightbulbs, gas-powered cars, nuclear energy, off-shore drilling, fracking, natural gas exports, coal plants, and even “carbon” itself.
The article goes on to detail each candidate’s banning proposals, all of which were similar, mindless, and based on an incredible level of ignorance about the climate and science. Bernie Sanders however probably gave us the most revealing and honest glimpse into all their mindsets with his suggestion that human life itself was the problem.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) went the furthest, saying we should try to minimize human life itself to help the environment. Sanders said he’d use taxpayer money to help fund 3rd world population control programs: “The answer has everything to do with the fact that women in the United States of America, by the way, have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions. And the Mexico City agreement, which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control to me is totally absurd.” [emphasis mine]
No one should be surprised by this. Every socialist/communist/totalitarian movement in the past has always led inevitably to the killing of millions. For them, their ideas are much more important than people, and should those people get in the way, well then, they must be removed, by force and by gas chambers if necessary.
Be prepared. Should one of these power-hungry leftists win the White House they will be coming for you next.

Environmental concern is inversely proportional to how much discomfort the real solutions will cause you.
We are wasting any more times arguing with the climate change monoculture about data and altered data. Time to truly flesh out solutions.
Quickly the masses will realize the “solution” will be to continue the technological progress toward efficiency and energy storage.
I can’t believe these people. Are they actually trying to reelect Trump? Are they so in a bubble that they don’t realize this crap will never fly in a general election? Not even the Democrats in Congress were stupid enough to vote for the GND when they had the chance. Could you imgine a president, Cory Booker? Bernie Sanders? Elizabeth Warren? Really?
The stock market would crater and all of the businesses in most of the world would have no direction or security because of it. I remember what it was like to have an Obama for a president, always talking everything down and reveling in “America is guilty of so much that we must apologize for being American”. Think about the chaos that that would bring to America again and the world. Obama was a piker compared to these wana be panderers in cheifs.
If one of these jokers was elected it would set up the forcing of America to embrace Socialism in all of its wonderful eventualities. The Green New deal, The Paris climate accord, open borders, no borders, Sanctuary America, “Free” healthcare for the world, actually arming Iran with nukes, bending over once again for the Chinese and all of their aspirations, just think about what would go on.
The American people upon seeing this all would become extemely Conservative as they watched their beautiful country going down the drain. You want to see a real next revolution in America? Elect one of these Democrats who are busy pandering to the most extreme Leftists and America hating among us president. Good luck with that.
So whether Trump were to be reelected or not, the resulting Conservative wave that would result after the 4 years of Democrat / Socialist chaos and reality check might be the best thing for the country and the world by extension.
The Democrats can not win any way that you look at it. Even if they won they would lose.
Either way the Democrats have a problem that none of them are up to solving, none of them. Their party must go through what they are currently going through, no way around it. And what comes out the other end is unknown to me.
Ban nuclear power? If the goal was actually high-density power generation that does not introduce carbon into the atmosphere, the Greens would be all over nukes. The more energy available to a society, the greater the opportunity. That they advocate limiting resources is damning.
After listening to a bit of the CNN climate town hall with the Democrats this is how I am basically feeling about the Democrats and the stupid and really dangerous crap that they are peddling. There desperation and their Leftist orientation is really making them dangerous to America and Americans.

In the analogy the Democrats propose that Lebron James can call himself a woman, play in the WNBA, and score 840 points a game because he is “Equal”. This kind of thinking is what the Democrats now insist that you happily agree with and call it all good and reasonable.

I agree with Cotour. The Democrats can’t win for losing because they are ideologically exhausted. All their important goals full civil rights for minorities and women, abortion rights, and gay and transgender rights, have already been achieved. For the Democrats to go any farther means they have try to achieve total “equality,” which involves the complete destruction of America’s political and economic system. Hence the freak show on CNN last night. The Democrats are like a herd of wooly mammoths from prehistoric times that has been driven to the edge of the cliff by pursuing human hunters, but in this case the Democrats have hunted themselves to the cliff’s edge.
I am sure that if they were elected, and were able to ban these things, that just like Obamacare, they would be exempt from compliance.
Watching more clips of the CNN / Democrat Climate town hall you could reasonably come to the conclusion that maybe a third of the Democrats that are watching all of this BS going on may not even show up at the polls.

Many democrats are true believers who need the climate to bring meaning to their lives. In their minds, they have to save the world from evil people, just like their hollywood idols. I see it in my friends, you mention Biden or Warren, Booker or Bernie to them as presidential candidates and they just shake their heads. Each one of them creates their own special negative emotion in a segment of the Democrat party memebers.
The day after a Biden, Bernie, Booker (Booker is the biggest joke, I just include him for fun) or Warren presidency is what in your estimation? The stock market will fall by a 3rd or a 1/2, there will be no confidence in our economy, China throws a big party, Iran throws a big party, the implications are monumental.
And all it is going to take is a few percentage points of real, rational thinking, actual red blooded American Democrats (They actually exist) not showing up at the polls to deliver the goods to the reelection of D.J.Trump. And Trumps base and then some will be waiting at 6AM to cast their votes.
No, your interpretation is incorrect from where I sit. The only person that will be defeating Trump is Trump in the coming presidential election. And if he does not shoot himself in the foot like only Trump can then he will be reelected, probably in numbers never before seen. And if he were to lose then you can expect real chaos and the resulting 2024 presidential election will bring who knows who, maybe an Allen West for president? Now that would suit me just fine.

Which is common due to the influence of the media and the picture they desire / need to portray in the minds of the general public. I wrote here on BTB about how the Democrats were fracturing themselves and were in an existential death spiral, it has to be several years ago now and the Democrats have not disappointed me in the least. And my Democrat freinds are rational, good, rational every day Americans who go to work, pay their bills and worry about their retirment just like everyone else. But they are also extremely uniformed related to the political strategies and media agendas being played out before their eyes. And that makes them tribal and manipulatable, but they remain unispired. Do you think Joe Biden will change that? No way.
I have to dumb myself down to hang out with them now because they know I am immersed in politics and inevitiably politics comes around in the conversation and what they think they know and understand about what is actually going on is freightening to me. They understand very little. And that has to also be how a significant chunk of the general public also thinks. And as you might imagine things can get out of control if I do not control my astonishement at just how uniformed they really are. It has gotten so bad that I now have a policy where if I do choose to participate in a conversation I will only ask a question and just sit back and see where it goes.
But what I see in them is that none of these Democrats who see themselves as the next president are the answers that they are looking for. Most of them personally despise Trump and will probably not vote for him, keeping in mind I live in NYC, but they also are not inspired in the least by the un and anti Americans that the Democrat party is offering them and so they are going to be apathetic.
So unless that is able to be changed in some significant way in the coming months, and I see no one who will be able to accomplish that that is what the Democrats are Left with. Being Left, un American and being Left behind as they sort themselves out.
