Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

On Wednesday Obama announced he would overide Congress and release of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority, with no strings attached.

What could possibly go wrong? On Wednesday Obama announced he would override Congress and release of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority (PA), with no strings attached.

Not only is this insane, considering the murderous behavior of the PA, it seems to me that the U.S. has this document called the Constitution, which clearly stipulations that Congress, not the President, determines how money can be spent. If Congress says no, the President isn’t legally allowed to do it. The article above is vague about this issue, so it is possible that Obama is acting legally here. However, based on his previous behavior, I remain suspicious.

A more detailed analysis of Obama’s action can be found here. It appears my suspicions are correct.

Congress deliberately froze those funds, and not just because of the statehood demand through UNESCO. Hamas, a terrorist organization, reconciled with Fatah and has rejoined the PA, which means we’re putting almost $200 million into the hands of a terrorist organization. The language of the Palestinian Accountability Act could not be clearer: “[N]o funds available to any United States Government department or agency … may be obligated or expended with respect to providing funds to the Palestinian Authority.” Obama literally waived that statutory language off yesterday afternoon. [emphasis mine]

For this President, a supposed Constitutional lawyer, the law is always such an inconvenient thing. He somehow thinks that, under our legal system, he can rule by dictate, something that any legal scholar would tell him is wrong.

The faster we get this power-hungry man out of office, the better.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

You get to move to Israel – try making friends instead of your usual ethnic cleansing.

The Jews are not a powerless, persecuted minority, especially in the United States. The Jews are the most organized, powerful segment of the U.S. population, and have effective control over the government, media, banking system, educational system, Hollywood and many other aspects of society. They run the show here, folks, and they often brag about it.

    B. Obama has recruited Bill Clinton to raise money for his campaign.

Think about that for a moment.

I say the election is in no way in the bag for the incumbant and they clearly understand that.

I am buy nature an optimist and have a hard time beliveing the people of America will not in the end put a stop to this “hope and change”.

My concern is about what will be done in desperation through executive orders as it becomes clear the way the election will go, this funding is

    an example IMO.

Lies, fears about race, wealth disparity, jealousy and financial destruction is the strategy being employed, classic socialist manipulations

appealing only to human emotions, why?

    Because thats all they have.

Ask a socialist this question: After you destroy capitalism, then what?

There is no plausible answer, just smoke and mirrors.

Why do we even give ANY money to them?

I can see allowing them to raise civilian donations here. Pretty much anyone can do that. But why do we give government funds to them?

Have we not learned from Africa? Any, and I mean any, funds, food or equipment that we send into areas like this just gets taken by the leading dictator to be used for his military. And if not taken directly it just frees up his own cash his civilians needs to be turned to his military needs.

The best thing to do is to do ( and I know its a hard attitude) is to NEVER give them any help of any kind. The people will either rise up and overthrow the dictator or they just don’t care. If the people want our help militarily then they can organize and ask for it.
At least I know that if we send in our military to help overthrow their dictator then I know the dictator is not getting any of the cash to spend against his people or us.

To “Party of God”: THIS –

“The Jews are not a powerless, persecuted minority, especially in the United States. The Jews are the most organized, powerful segment of the U.S. population, and have effective control over the government, media, banking system, educational system, Hollywood and many other aspects of society. They run the show here, folks, and they often brag about it.”

…is anti-Semitic NONSENSE. Do you realize what a tiny minority Jews make up in this country? They are one of the smallest minorities in the entire world, and to say they’re not persecuted is just astonishing in its ignorance. Next you’ll tell us the Holocaust never happened. I’m not Jewish by the way, but I can clearly see when a particluar group has been singled out & targeted, and in fact, that’s EXACTLY what the Palestinians want – they have never changed their charter, which states they want the state of Israel destroyed…

Congratulations. You had more restraint in dealing with him then I could have had.
