Pushback: If the young are beginning to resist the leftist queer agenda, then there is real hope

And a little child shall lead them: There appears to be increasing evidence that it isn’t just the parents that are becoming aware and opposed to the queer and Marxist agenda that the public schools and leftist governments have been force feeding down children’s throats for the past decade. It now appears the students themselves are beginning to rise up in rebellion.
This story from May 29, 2023 illustrates the point:
Lakeridge High School in Oregon recently ran into an interesting problem: boys were ripping tampon dispensers off the walls of their bathrooms and dumping them in the toilet. The school has formally asked the boys to stop destroying the free menstrual products they are being provided with, and gave parents resources on “menstruation, menstrual products, sexuality, and health” in order to help them explain to their children that menstruation is normal for a “person that has a uterus.”
Why are there tampon dispensers in the boys’ bathroom to begin with? Oregon’s 2021 “Menstrual Dignity Act” requires all public schools to provide all students regardless of “gender, age, ability [and] socioeconomic status” with menstrual products in order to promote “privacy, inclusivity, access and education.” The educational impact of putting tampon dispensers in boys’ bathrooms, of course, is to inform children that boys can have periods, which is to say that girls can be boys.
Apparently, the boys at this Oregon school find this claim not only insulting, but absurd, and have been expressing their dissent quite forcefully, even though they know that the entire fascist leftist queer culture that runs their state will come down on them like a ton of bricks should they be caught.
Fortunately, there are no surveillance cameras in the boys’ bathroom, yet. This provides them a safe place to express their protest without being identified. (Consider how far we have fallen as a free nation: Not only do these students fear retribution for expressing their opinions, it is no longer considered ridiculous to someday expect surveillance cameras in bathrooms.)
Nor are these protests unique. The article at the link describes similar but far more public protests against the queer agenda in three Canadian schools. In one case, a student ripped down the queer flag to the cheers of hundreds of fellow students. In the other case, the one third of the student population boycotted an elementary school on the day the queer flag was raised there. And in the third case, students put together a petition demanding that all queer flags and posters be removed. To no one’s surprise, school officials refused, but then, these educators no longer are there to teach reading, writing, and arithmetic, but queer propaganda.
Last year I documented a number of similar protests by American students against mask and COVID jab mandates. There is also the recent case of a 12-year-old standing up to school officials when they tried to deny him his first amendment rights.
Unfortunately, though such examples are appearing more and more, their number remains rare. In every case, however, it appears that the protestors have had the quiet support of their peers. As noted by that 12-year-old whose shirt offended several school officials for stating simply that “There are only two genders,”
“Not one person — staff or student — told me that they were bothered by what I was wearing. Actually, just the opposite,” Liam said. “Several kids told me they supported my actions and that they wanted one too.”
I don’t think Liam’s experience is rare. Among the kids, I think there is a growing defiance to the sick agenda of the LBGTQBIPOQZQYXXX political movement, especially because the kids are seeing their parents becoming enraged and opposed to it as well.
In the end, this is the only solution to the cultural rot that now dominates our society. We adults can fight it, but in the end it is the next generation that must solve it. We adults must do everything we can to fan the flames of that growing student defiance, so that the flames become a roaring firestorm. Only then will the future be made truly secure.

I’ve a couple of kids still in school, 13 and 14, from what I gather from them most kids in this little part of the world think the queer agenda – especially the trans aspect – is a joke to most kids their age. The advocates for queer issues being imposed on others being a noisy but small minority.
But we’ve also got a biased legacy media aiding the promotion of that fringe movement, considerably amplifying its significancy far beyond the reality.
Well, it’s no joke here in New York.
I talk to teachers who teach in the NYC public education system, and they are terrified and are just going through the motions and they are to a person sick about what they are FORCED to teach and endure.
And that is universal from who I talk with.

Isaiah 11:6 does not say a child will lead adults. It says a child will lead ANIMALS that have been made peaceful.

The way I read the Bible adults are to lead children.
As an engineer, I would ask for a useful definition of each letter of that ever changing alphabet they post. That way I can more honestly evaluate what I am being confronted with.
That boys destroyed otherwise unusable products foist upon them, no surprise there. And the pinkos in charge are upset at the violence. But burn a flag, well, that’s just fine, despite the violence. So it’s not the violence, is it?
Lastly, here in Colorado we have recently come to learn the teachers’ union adopted some language in their, uh, manifesto, that comes right out of the Marx’s famous Manifesto. Right there in public for all to see. So I wonder how cowed all the teachers really are, or are they on the whole really in to that brave new world. Imagine.

My Lads girlfriend has 2 gay mothers and 2 gay father’s… ( Work out the math for yourselves.. ) We all get along great, they are beautiful people, the parents out and proud, and they think all this transgender nonsense is just that .. nonsense.
I have no problems with multisex toilets, as long as they are only cubicles…. No one got butt hurt washing their hands next to a member of the opposite sex, but if you have tampon dispensers in a male only toilet… Well, I would have probably ripped it off the wall in my day also.
I am all about inclusiveness, live and let live… But don’t be a bystander to stupidity.. and as I have been predicting for a good few years now… The pendulum is swinging back.

We are a diverse species, and any right thinking person shouldn’t care who someone loves, and even how they dress… But anyone born with a penis is a guy who chooses to be different, the same with someone born with a viginia is a girl.. whatever sex she relates to be.
The whole business of gender reassignment thru hormone therapy and/surgery is, I think, very overblown and vanishingly rare, but also dangerous to even have out there… It might encourage unwarranted interventions in the few, and is absolutely a huge target for the right to take aim at, denying those in genuine need of help the opportunity.
Whatever…. Like I said, the pendulum is swinging back towards sanity… If we want to do something good for the youth of today, replace the sanitary towel dispenser in the guys toilets with condom dispensers… It will do our lads a lot more good in the long term!

An entire generation of children doesn’t suddenly decide on their own that they are the wrong gender.
Lee, how far back the pendulum swings depends entirely on how far it continues to rise on the left. I can guarantee it will swing back further to the right than you would like. Reasonable liberals like yourself have been run roughshod over in the loony left’s pursuit of power. There will be casualties, just as there have been on the right already (just try and find a right leaning professor in any university).
Target, Anheiser Busch, Kohl’s, and no doubt school districts will shed jobs, and that sucks for those that lose them, but actions have consequences. At best we can hope that is the extent of the pendulum’s cull, but the longer this goes on, the worse the consequences will be.

Kids who feel like they “are in the wrong body” deserve our care, not hostility. And trans activists will exploit the destruction of property as evidence of hostility and violence. The pushback has to be more sophisticated than this.

Covid has made the younger generation extremely skeptical of authority, and I could not be happier. The vast majority of these kids knew instinctually that masks were BS. They know China did this. When I was 16 I was involved in the computer games industry ( did grafix on a few games ) but also worked in a computer store roughly 1986.. with a transveste guy named Dave. He was known as “Tranny Dave”… Perhaps he got crap out of work, but if you had any any questions regarding programming z80 machine code, nevermind the best games in the store.. he was the go to guy to go to.
His name was Dave… He dressed as a woman… No one really cared… It was his thing… He was a Z80 machine code genius, and a proper nice guy… He wore a dress and makeup… I don’t know what he thinks of today’s culture, but I can guess he wouldn’t be impressed… Back then we didn’t give a flying one…

The LGBTQ+/ crowd are equating gays with lesbians with transgenders with everyone else, apparently in an attempt to unify. They seem to use the plus symbol “+” to include unspecified others, however I use it to add in the division that they bring to all of society.
Which of those letters means gender fluid? I live in abject fear that gender fluidity will strike me, and as I feel more feminine than masculine I will use the women’s bathroom and once within the stall will begin to feel more masculine than feminine, unable to legally walk through the rest of the restroom in order to escape. I will have been transformed from a woman trapped in a man’s body to a man trapped in a woman’s lavatory. Truly scary stuff, and I never had to worry about it when men were real men and women were real women. These days no one is sure who is a man, who is a woman, what a woman even is, and so now the sheep are scared. Real scared.

40 years ago our city had a cross dressing city councilmen. No one cared. It was never pointed out in the news and ‘he’ did not go out of his way looking for publicity.
She earned respect by doing her job and only asked for simple courtesy in how you addressed her. He preferred to be referred to as a she and that is how everyone addressed her.
I never ran into anyone who really had a problem with her. A few bigots who you wouldn’t expect better from but that was all.
Honestly I do not think she would appreciate the modern gay movement at all.

Because what is underway today is not about trying to attain mutual respect, it is about reprogramming a society and culture into subjective compliance.
