Today’s blacklisted American: Louisiana health company to punish employees with unvaccinated spouses

Coming to your town in America soon!
Death camps are coming for the unclean unvaccinated.

They’re coming for you next: A Louisiana hospital system, Ochsner Health Systems, has informed its employees that they will be fined $100 per salary check for having an unvaccinated spouse on their health plan.

From the memo sent to all employees:

New in 2022: Ochsner is implementing a new Spousal COVId Vaccine Fee as part of its 2022 medical plan premiums. This means, if a spouse/domestic partner is covered by one of our medical plans in 2022 and unvaccinated against COVID-19, a $100-per-pay-period fee will apply.

The chutzpah and irrationality of this policy is really beyond words. Aren’t you supposed to be protected from COVID if vaccinated? If so, what risk is there to the company’s employed if their spouse happens to unvaccinated?

The company could claim that this $100 fine per paycheck is to cover the increased costs for treating these unvaccinated spouses, but on what basis do they have for establishing that number? I can see none, especially since almost no healthy people actually die from the Wuhan virus. In most cases an unvaccinated person will simply quickly recover (as we do with the flu), and not need any significant medical treatment. Furthermore, that unvaccinated person will now have natural antibodies, and will be far less likely to get sick again from COVID compared to the vaccinated, thus likely be saving the company some medical cost.

Charging employees $5,200 per year (assuming they issue weekly paychecks) for these costs is thus clearly political and not economic. The company wants to punish employees who do not obey its orders, even if those orders are not based on any rational facts.

It appears however that some of Ochsner’s employees are unwilling to obey. The article gives one example of a medical doctor who intends to defy their edict. To quote his tweet,

So #OchsnerHealth will terminate my staff privileges at their Kenner facility where I have been on staff since 1987 & paid rent to them for 21 years. I am not turning in my health info or vaccine status to their admins.

I could retire now. But now…NFW

Hopefully we might also see some lawsuits down the road. At a minimum we should see this company suddenly discover it has a staffing shortage because many of its employees will leave for another job rather than have their spouses be forced to take medicine they do not wish to take. Absurd policies like this must be resisted hard, by everyone.

In the end, such policies are dividing our society into two classes, the privileged vaccinated and the oppressed unvaccinated. Such a division is unhealthy, unjust, and based on an irrational ignorance of facts. Sadly, it is the direction we are going. As I have said repeatedly, the next steps will be isolation, then arrest, then death camps, to keep these unclean unvaccinated individuals away from the clean and pure.

All based on an irrational fear of a disease that in the end is really not much different than the flu. And if you don’t believe me, consider this minor fact stated by Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) in his questioning of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra at a hearing yesterday

You presume somehow to tell over 100 million Americans who survived COVID that we have no right to determine our own medical care.

That’s right, 100 million Americans have survived COVID. That’s almost one third of the country’s population. Obviously, the Wuhan virus is not the “deadly” disease that news outlets and Democratic Party politicians keep saying it is. The only people it is deadly to are the old and sick, just like the flu. For 99% or more of the population it is relatively harmless, just like the flu.

The only reason we are not responding to it the same way as with the flu, with reasoned actions designed to protect that vulnerable population while letting everyone else continue their normal and free lives, is because radical and power-hungry Democrats like Xavier Becerra want to use it as hammer to smash any opposition to them.

Its the flu, people. Get over your fear and live again. And stop letting these thugs tell you what to do.

    This is long since settled as a matter of law. A firm back in the Nineties announced that it wouldn’t cover the increased premiums for smokers, heavy drinkers and unhealthy eaters (ie- the obese) and workers were told to shape upwithin a certain period and applicants what the terms of employment were. Read what a vaccine does and how they are made and then read what this RDNA shot does and how it is made. There is a huge difference and to say otherwise is to lie. Notice also that one shot is not enough – Big Pharma wants 2 shots and then a booster shot, none of which will keep anyone from contracting the Wuhan flu.     Today – as so often – I walked around in a large shopping mall for about 2 hours (not in the shops themselves). Without a mask, of course, although it is forbidden! I was the only one, although I passed hundreds people in that time. What’s wrong with the people? All stupid sheep who let themselves be led to the slaughter?     Christianity was a very revolutionary religion when it was founded–and still is, today. Not in the way that the Marxist religion is, but revolutionary in the sense that it was very, very different from anything else that had come before or that has come since. In particular (for the purposes of this topic), certain points really stand out:

    *Everyone will be judged.
    *The judge knows all and sees all, including everyone’s thoughts.
    *Everyone WILL be found guilty, because everyone has committed some form of sin (and yes, committing sins in your imagination counts).
    *You MAY be granted a pardon, if you acknowledged the authority of the judge, confessed your guilt, begged for mercy, and tried to stop sinning while you were still alive.

    As part of this… “probation”, let’s call it… you are called upon to do certain things throughout your life, like loving your neighbor, caring for people who are worse off than you, treating others as you would wish for them to treat you, and refraining from things like adultery, murder, perjury, and theft (or even just envy). For more information, look up “shame culture vs guilt culture”.

    Left solely to their own devices, people can get really nasty to each other. “Me against my brother, me and my brother against my cousins, etc.”. This leads to tribalism. Christianity, almost uniquely, offered a mechanism by which people from vastly different tribes could interact together in a “high-trust society” (look that up, too). And while the split between the RCC and Protestant branches got very nasty at times (admittedly, it was often used as an excuse for people to do nasty things they already wanted to do in the first place; see: Thirty Years’ War), there was something of a religious awakening in His Majesty’s American Colonies in the mid-17th century that placed an emphasis on the above points, while de-emphasizing the RCC’s use of human (and therefore eminently fallible) intermediaries to dispense the pardons. This led directly to what Tocqueville described as a culture in which individuals came together on their own to form temporary groups as needed, get things done, and then dissolved those groups and joined others when the need had passed. Things were generally handled at the lowest level of organization possible, just like a free market handles buying and selling decisions at the lowest level possible (compared to a directed economy). It. Just. Worked.

    But without that culture, or the resultant high-trust society that it created, things fall apart. No earthly power can read the hearts and minds of men and threaten them with eternal punishment for their misdeeds; anyone who is tempted by an opportunity to behave badly, whether a common thief or a corrupt tyrant, can therefore be checked ONLY by the threat of punishment (ultimately, physical violence) by other men… who are themselves corruptible. Without the majority fearing a perfect, incorruptible judge, the center cannot hold. The results are obvious: those in power become more blatantly corrupt and tyrannical over time, as they become less afraid.

    Hayek, Friedman, and Sowell all warned of this. So did Orwell, although he could not bring himself to see that it was an inherent result of his beloved socialism. The only way out is probably to educate the next generations, which at this point really means somehow putting an end to the current system of indoctrination. Otherwise… well, Orwell was wrong about the boot stamping on the human face “forever”; his Party would have either torn itself apart as future generations of Inner Party members quarreled over power, or it would have collapsed due to economic mismanagement, or perhaps Oceania would be invaded and conquered by a less foolish (and therefore stronger) power.

    And that is why God was so important to the Founders. They may not have foreseen the horrors of socialism (the Terror and its fallout caught most of them by surprise), but they understood that without a supernatural force to keep people in line, a human–and therefore, tragically fallible–force is required, instead.

I am a little surprised because I still remember that the majority of the founding fathers were supposed to have been Freemasons. But I have not a very deep knowledge of the American Constitution or the Declaration of Independence, so I have to ask again more precisely: Is the sovereignty of the United States – in the strict legal sense – derived from God in the documents mentioned, as Joseph de Maistre considers necessary?

    In accordance to what you write about the role of Christianity in stabilizing societies, there are various quotes from Joseph de Maistre – who called for the ultimate authority of the Pope in temporal matters – which I bring below:

    Questioner: Thank you for the dedication, I will take some time a read that piece.

    The Constitution is a fairly simple document once you *SEE* it for what it is. The first thing the Constitution structures is eternal political warfare, by design. And through that structured and intentional eternal struggle and contention is where all of our salvation lies. As counter intuitive as that may sound.

    (I always wonder if the Founders stumbled into that structure as a function of what they intended, or if they clearly intended it. Which ever is so it was and remains brilliant!)

    When there is no contention and government appears to be operating smoothly and without any road blocks to agendas that is the moment that you understand that all is lost and our government essentially owns us all and what ever freedom we enjoy as a people exist purely at the whim of those who are “Approved” and have been politically empowered / installed. (SEE: Australia, stay tuned on where that situation goes).

    What is the Constitution? The Constitution is the counter balance to the nature of man regarding governance and political power.

    What is the nature of man related to governance and political power? IT WILL BE ABUSED.

    Politics: DEF: Politics is the dirtiest, filthiest most corrupt activity that human beings participate in.

    As soon as we all clearly, objectively and unemotionally understand these simple principles of human nature and politics the ability of the political aspirant and the already politically empowered to execute the “two conversations” in order to install their political agenda and vision is short circuited.

    And in that short circuiting and those road blocks and the need to achieve compromise and a two thirds agreement and not consensus there is hope.

    Well lets keep this simple.

    God as referenced is the giver and creator of ALL our rights.
    In the past all rulers or governments assumed that they were the font of your individual rights. They alone granted you those rights. They thought that since they could take away those rights by force they were the grantors of those rights.
    They are wrong.
    They were wrong. They could suppress those rights but they could not give them to you.

    The Declaration of Independence simply states that man, humans, people have the very same rights granted by our creator that all animals do in nature.
    We have the simple right to life, the right to stay alive as best our ability.
    We have the simple natural right of liberty, the right to basically do as we please.
    We have the right to pursue happiness, not the right to be happy but the simple right to pursue what brings us pleasure as best we can.
    Our Amendments further innumerate a few more of these rights.
    It even states that those rights not yet listed are the rights of the persons the people not the state.

    By believing, by understanding, by accepting that God, our Creator, the Supreme power, Nature gave us those rights at birth and that in no way can they be taken by force or given away then you will start to understand American Sovereignty.

    As for Freemasonry.
    This is all the concept of Natural Law. And you do not need a God nor religion to know natural law exists.

    One more question for both of them: What connection, in their opinion, is the American constitution with the Enlightenment and humanism? I ask specifically because a conservative can be see himself also as an anti-enlightener. Even anti-humanism seems philosophically to give something for the political right. There are quite a few men who see (nihilistic) humanism as the root of the evil of today’s destructive left.

    I fully agree with you. Incidentally, that is also the reason why I believe that politics and women do not get along.     You are in the process of seeing the answer to your question about powerful groups (Left or Right) play out right before your eyes in the Congress and the Senate. Keep watching, they can not come to a compromise (Not a consensus) and so they will tend to do NOTHING.

    So manipulating an election if you can get away with it is nothing.

    Who can take political power away from the politically empowered? The citizens, not the state.

    It may be that Christianity does not rely as much on government as Leftists, because it builds its own huge power and control structure. That is only a question of practical implementation.

    There are many denominations under Christianity, each with its own implementation(s) and all of which encourage independence and limited reliance on charity, so that “huge power and control structure” does not exist.

    In addition, there is the component of the moralization of all areas of life, the over-morality, which we find in Christianity as well as in leftism.

    Morality is not what socialism is about at all. It is not in any definition. You might as well argue that both Christians and socialists breathe, so they are the same.

    To make this clear, I have added some quotations from Nietzsche

    Well, if Nietzsche says that Christianity is socialist, then it must be true. Oh, wait. He didn’t say so. Huh. So even if we were to accept his thoughts on Christianity, he still fails to support your conclusion, just your observations. Ted Kaczynski fairly discredited himself. Nietzsche may be widely known, but his philosophies are not so widely accepted. Since my observations are different from those you have reported making, I will continue with my conclusions, backed up by my previous comment and unchanged by yours or your choice of philosophers.

    Just to be clear, ref Ted Kaczynski, the man was a brilliant mathematician with a high IQ, but I don’t consider him to be a philosopher.
    Spent most of my career dealing with mental-illness in all its forms, and I’ve encountered a handful of extremely intelligent people dealing with schizophrenia and/or bi-polar disorder. The most curious thing—there was always a ring-of-truth to most of what they said, but not quite all-the-way. Kaczynski’s take on Reality fits in that category. It’s a fascinating insight into his head, but ultimately the Content of his delusions are less important than the fact they are delusions.

  • Questioner’s knowledge of the Bible is quite poor. And it is the basis for both the Christian and Jewish religions. The Old Testament lays out the difference between right and wrong, but insists each person has the free will to choose one or the other. It also makes clear that it is not the place of any religious hierarchy to impose that decision, which is why the Jews have always been so difficult for others to oppress. They have always refused to give up their free will to choose right from wrong.

    I discuss this in depth in my new book, Conscious Choice.. Questioner might benefit by reading it. And if not, he or she should at least try reading the Bible itself, especially the Old Testament.

    No, I don’t live in the USA, I live in Europe. You actually already know that.

    The following to clarify:

    With my statements I refer to what I experience as reality myself, which can deviate from the conditions that prevail in America. Although I believe that the differences between America and Europe are not only in the political reality, but above all in the different use of terms in the political field, which can lead to confusion. An example – which I already wrote about – is the term liberal or liberalism. Btw, I also made a typo, I meant Protestant and not Evangelical Church.

    In the case of Protestant Christianity in Northern and Central Europe, it is actually the case that their leadership is absolutely part of the neo-Marxist postmodern (“progressive”) “elite” and agenda and helps to bring left ideology to power. This can be seen in many points, such as being “politically correct”, women “liberation”, support of “wokeness”, support for unrestrained immigration, hyper-moralization of many aspects of life, excessive support for marginalized groups instead of the nuclear family, submission to Islam, fighting conservatives structures like family and nation. I have the impression that the Protestant church is trying – like the left – to achieve “redemption” already on earth and no longer cares enough about the hereafter or the souls of the believers, which should be their main task.

    I think it could be different with the Orthodox and some parts of the Catholic Church.

    Thank you for your recommendation. I do not want to deny that the Bible certainly contains very valuable, always valid rules of life that can help people in individual cases today, even if the text of the Old Testament is about 2,800 years old.

    But, when was the last time you read the Bible? A personal question for you in this context, do you believe in God?

    My concern, however, is to reveal the similarities between the politically effective Christianity that actually exists in the West today and the left political ideology. To do this, you hardly need any knowledge of the Bible. Please convince me of the opposite in detail.

    You are right in your remarks about religions, which are closely related to the culture of a civilization. Like religion, art and culture of a civilization degrade over time. Human history is therefore not linear, but in cycles. According to Oswald Spengler, (“Decline of the West”) civilizations (including culture, religion) emerge, mature, reach their peak, degrade and die. A new cycle begins. We are currently in the final phase of western civilization.

    There is one thing that exists in this societal cycle that we can clearly see before our eyes that has never been calculated into the long term existence of any culture or society.

    What is that?

    The Constitution.

    Is it enough to depressurize or somehow even out this contention we have in America?

    We are about to find out.

    Ultimately the people must become aware of the corruptions and the perversions in our government and stop it by executing their fiduciary responsibilities.     Of course you need knowledge of the Bible. Otherwise you don’t know what you are talking about and may assume that Christianity is socialist. You then become difficult, if not impossible, to persuade away from this feeling of yours, because you have become emotionally married to your unfounded feeling.

    I noticed that you lost this argument (without changing your feelings on it) and have attempted to distract by changing the subject.
